It sounds like the transmission is defective. You need it checked by a local shop and then rebuilt if needed.

Not possible. The rear struts on this vehicle are air-assisted and require inflation to hold the vehicle up. If the air source has failed it will need repaired, If the struts themselves are leaking and won't hold up , they must be replaced. There is no other option.

There is a DRL control module, it is the most likely part to disable the the DLR system.

Does the engine spin or just click when you try to start it? If it just clicks or there is nothing try checking your battery cables, they may have become loose or they are corroded. Also because you said you were driving uphill and it started to lose power then died, it could very well be that your fuel pump decided to stop working.
