brake fluid generally every 2 years, transmission not to sure usually 80-100k but should say in the logbook

hi got 2012 mercedez benz c250 i change the camshaft actuators intake and exhaust. first thing i change becouse make a lot noise when'd is cool now i put the actuators the noise is gone for two days now i got the code poo14 now is jerking and shaking ???

there are two...  one under the hood and one in the drivers kick panel. Also check the relays by swapping them.

Take it to the dealer for an oil change - they'll clear the warning light.

open glove box. see operators guide, it tell where all fuse boxes are. find the blown one.

remove the bulb to save your battery, have you given it a good push down ? if this doesnt work either the catch has stayed in the locked position or needs adjusting , try unlocking the vehicle with the fob a notice what happens at the trunk lock mechanism , if there is no movement i'd check the fuse box , the lod/cover should give list other wise see owners hand book

Hello, yup sounds like the oil level/quality sensor is bad. Its not a hard fix, raise the engine and remove the lower oil pan, then 4 bolts and the sensor is out. Its a common issue and I guess around $500 parts and labor, again that's a guess. Cheers!

Sounds like the lift gate latch has gone bad, its a liitle bit of a project to replace but can be done. Remove the tailgate lining and its a few screws and rivits. Happy motoring!

p0355 indicates that engine misfire is present. p0305 indicates that the misfire is in the cylinder number 5 Have the spark plug tested/replaced and test the cylinder number 5 spark plug coil.

have you checked both front and rear sensors?

check for the fuse as i'm sure it's electronic

It sounds like your question is more about what to do about the bill than the repair. That's actually not uncommon. I am unfamiliar with the system there but here if we get faced with one of those "guess what you own a Mercedes" type bills you need to be talking to the service manager, if he can't do anything (common) talk to the regional and then national service managers. Basically what can and does happen is the national will put the dealer on the spot about it ie fix this or loose your franchise. For some reason even the most greedy "stealerships" will change their mind on the value of the repair. Sometimes covering it it entirely under warranty or under special coverage. Unfortunately that is about all you can do. Generally they will do something if this really is from a manufacturers or systemic fault, however sometimes you just have to pay the bill no matter howlarge or undeserved..

Modern luxury cars have very complex computers that require a certain amount of energy to maintain the memory. At autoparts stores they use a device called a memory minder when changing batteries. it is a 9 volt that keeps the computer from resetting when the battery disconnects. I had a friend with a bmw 7 series and he disconnected the battery without a memory minder and the car wouldnt work right. idling low no idrive navigation system, no acceleration, etc. many car computers will relearn the necessary lost data after being started and turned off a few times 4 to 6. I have done this for many cars and it had worked on newer fords, jaguars, bmws, and others.

No --- I would go else where and get a proper diagnosis of the fault . Vibrations can be from misfiring either plugs or injectors . Have the fault codes read and decide what sensor is failing.. Even if you have a head gasket problem ( from a compression test ) the heads can be reconditioned cheaper than another motor.

it can be a complicated repair as there are a lot of parts and labor involved. I know there a detailed repair manuals you can download, but knowing what exact part you need might be tricky so you can fixed under warranty hope that it help

check the injector (first injector from cam belt side). you will also need live data software running with the engine running. just to make sure there is nothing ells causing the problem..

Make sure the socket has a proper ground and a good bulb. There should be power at the socket only when the pedal is pressed.

try cleaning the terminals on the horn if it still does it it might be the wiring behind the steering wheel but if you remove the air bag remove the battery terminals from the battery first let it ower down for about 15 mins if not you will get an srs fault light on the dash cheers ivan
