1999 Mercedes E-Class E320 Sedan. BAS ASR light on after replacing rotors and pads.

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Question moved to model category. Did you have the radio or CD on when you were doing all this work? Low battery voltage can cause it along with other reasons. https://www.google.com/search?q=1999+E320+BAS+ASR+light+on ..

2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500. It turns off after ten minutes every time and won't start until 15 minutes afterwards.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. You need a local mobile auto electrician with a $5,000 pro grade scan tool computer. They can diagnose static issues but can also record exactly what happens to make the car shut off after 10 minutes and what happens 15 minutes later to make it start again. You can't guess issues like this on a car with so many computer modules and sensors. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me This says it might be the Crankshaft Position Sensor? https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+Mercedes+Benz+CLS500+cut+out+after+10+minutes ....

I have a Mercedes E420 1997. I am having tail light issues, all the lights work turn sig., brake, back up, but no tail lights. I have changed out both rear tail lights, bulbs, and checked all of the f

Check for power with a test light(not a dvom) at the tail lamp assembly. Test right at the spot where the bulb socket sits. If you have power then i would check the connection tab on the bulb socket itself for pits or corroded tabs. If you do not have power present at test point then double check the fuse chart and see if it says 'electronic' instead of having a fuse amp rating for the tail lamps. If it says electronic for any of the light circuits then it means their is no external fuse that can be replaced and the problem is most likely internal of the headlight switch. Since the headlight switch is actually a power source for the lights. I would start there at this point. Let me know what you find and if you need anything else just let me know

How to bypass an immobiliser

you cannot disable the immobiliser. it is a system mercedes has put into to prevent theft. however, you can bypass the immobiliser (otherwise known as EIS, Electronic Ignition Switch) in order to switch ON the car, but you wont be able to start it. what you need to do it remove the connector from the back of the EIS module and bridge terminals 15r and terminal 30. i recommend getting a wiring diagram specific to your car to be sure of the terminals. however, do this at your own risk.
