My mercedes benz E200 199
Check the o-ring on the 13 pin connector between the TCM and the transmission. If it has oil on it, it will need to be replaced. Also clear any transmission error codes with an OBD II scanner. Make sure the transmission is NOT OVER FILLED. If the problem persists, see your local trans shop.
Engine dies while idling, then car won't start for a few minutes
One possibility is a blocked fuel line or filter. It basically runs out of fuel and you have to wait for it to come through slowly. The other possibility is the ignition system is losing spark as something heats up. You have to wait until it's cooled down before it runs again.

Reset battery light
Battery lights only come on if the alternator is faulty usually not to say the batterys duff i would get the alternator checked as well as the battery

Mercedes E280 2002 Non-Starter
Can you hear it the petrol pump you might need to remove the fuel inlet pipe to see if there is any fuel getting to the engine or the return fuel pipe there should be fuel either way if there is fuel remove 1 plug keep the leed atached and use some insulating plyers to keep a hold of it place the electrode on a bit of the engine to see if you have spark as long asvyou have these 2 things it should start

Hi we are replacing our water pump on our merc
I would remove all the belts as they will get in the way draw a diagram to show how the belts go on just remove the bolts that look like there conected to the water pump dont worry about removing the wrong ones as the rest are just for thev timeing belt cover and wont make any difference as long as they go back in hope this helps ivan

There is also a charge relay not sure where it is but its easy to check if its working when its dark turn engine on and put lights on after a few seconds the lights will become slightley brighter if it does its ok if they dont then theres a problem with it then get it checked and tell them what its doing

2003 E320
The E320 in that year range upto approx 2005 uses an auxiliary battery to operate the brake pump when main battery supply was lost or low. The low battery warning you describe can be caused by the aux battery being low. This battery is a small 7Ah battery mounted under the pollen filter in the engine area.
