Barrel fuses used to be made of aluminum and corrode on the copper contacts. Pull fuses and replace. 10-15 dollars now will help get rid of electrical gremlins.

Fuses can be bad, even though they look good, and connections may be corroded so there is not a good connection for the light. Double check to ensure bright metal contacts.

ASR can be dangerous, I highly recommend a dealer or highly recommended mechanic look at. Could be complicated, or just some loose connections affecting both asr and Transmission.

I seriously doubt you can fix this broken lever with removing it and coming with a solution a pinning of the two pieces together.

Well in which case you should have a warranty on the rebuild repairs. Or did the shop even give you a warranty?
I would check there before going on ahead. I hope this will help you in getting the issue resolved. Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

I have the solution to your problem I have been thinking about it sir what is going on with you is you have air in your system and you did not properly bleed out your braking system that is why your pedal is touching the ground

what procedure did you use to test the motor? if you fed power to it and it moves down swap the wires around and it should go up. Being a dc motor if you feed a + positive and - negative to it it should move one way to go down then swap the wires opposite and it should go up, if it does not than the motor is bad.

Yes, there is almost certainly a fuse, although I can't honestly assure you that is the problem. If you still have the owner's manual, check it out for the fuse location. If you don't, contact MB or take it to a MB dealer. Sometimes there ain't no shortcuts, dude. . .

Car is 25 year old. Some wire/wires are shorting with each other or the battery. For doing a Battery drain test known also as Parasitic Draw test.
You need a good Multimeter, probes and Fuse puller. follow the link given below for You Tube and similar ones. It is very time consuming.
