Will Valvorite 50 damage engine?

Straiht 50?? Are you driving in the desert....

Extended use could verry likely cause engine damage, I would stick to the genuine oil, or at least use correctly grade and type.

Mercedes usually run a synthetic 5w/30 or 10w/40..

Driving along makes a very loud noise like motor is racing, but continue driving, noise goes away then starts again???

Please take a look at your Engine's RPMs when this is happening and let us know, as it will help with the diagnosis. If the Engine RPM is stable (not high during the periods of the racing engine sound), then it sounds like your Radiator Fan clutch may be going out. The noise you are hearing is the fan kicking in and blowing a lot of air, which in turn sounds like the engine is racing. If the RPMs are increasing with the racing engine sound, it could be the transmission/(clutch if manual trans) slipping. Hope this helps!

I was driving my 1991 buick park avenue yesterday and it died twice but restarted but today it wont start what could be wrong

There are 15 reasons for this , none of which can be centered on your version of the problem. It needs a technician with test equipment to locate the exact problem.

1993 190e mercedes loosing power when full throddle.

Could be, but I would check your engine wiring harness as MB was forced by the US to use a biodegradable insulation on the wiring and with heat starts to crack and fall apart. Also check voltage regulator on the alternator and your coil.

My mercedes benz 230E w124 1992 model stalls when driving at about 60kph. My mechanic replaced fuel pump & fuel filter, he says the OVP & FPR are ok, but the car stalled again today at a speed

run the fault codes to check for faulty sensors. Have the cat converter checked as it may be cracked and blocking the exhaust at speed.

Hi you need to find out if there is fuel getting to the cylinders, take off ht leads so the car wont start then crank it over a few times and pump the exselleration peddle a few times, now pull each spark plug out in turn and check to see if they are wet with fuel,if not you will have to check from petral pump to cylinder where the problem might be,best of luck.
