Self start problem
Your starting problem may be battery charge level. Take buy a auto parts store, most will measure the battery charge condition and may recommend a new battery, They will also measure the status of the charging system, which if not adequate, will contribute to the poor battery charge and starting problem. If the battery condition is good or very good, you may have a Starter solenoid or starter and solenoid problem.
When to change gear oil in maruti zen 2002 model
when the lube is 30k-50k miles oil or when it looks bad. change it.

auto or stick trans?
we dont have Maruti in USA< this is a usa forum
but on sticks shifts remove side plug first
then drain plug out. then drain, the back in plug
and fill from side,
if A/T , get a full flush and filter at a real shop, its NON Trivial
and when , same deal, when the fluid progressed from pink to red
and wants to go brown, change it before brown happens.
ATF fluid.

First, check the availability of water in the wiper tank. If its OK then check the condition of the rubber tube. Then replace the motor if needed.

there are many different type chokes, (they are illegal here, in 2001)
but they have 5 types. (ive done them all)
1: electric
2: exhaust choke stove. (seen on relic usa IRON V8s)
3: water heat type.
4: and enrich jet type ,complex......
5: manual. (im famous for converting to manual)
on #1 or 3 ill cover. *(#4 just clean it ,it will work,)
the electric choke, is best just replaced. they get old and slow
or clean it and pray it works; is the coil open? 0 ohms. is good infinity is bad.
now the water choke., it uses water to heat the internal bimetal spring.
and it too needs to be replaced, its old. and will be slow or no-linear.
buy the manual at Suzuki. ask them.
or using your countries, (UK?) ebay , find one USED.
Brake zen
check for brake oil leak
if there is no leak change master cylinder
