My 2003 LIncoln Navigator liftgate is not working.

check relay and fuses, make sure that automatic liftgate is on. You will have to to the command center and go through the defaults and make sure that the system is on. if you are not comfortable doing that, disconnect battery for approximate ten minutes, this will reset the system defaults.

2006 Lincoln towncar rear axle jnterchangable with a grande marquee

ask dealer this, at parts counter the axle ratio most be correct or the transmission brain will go nuts so fitting is not the only consideration. ask them or ask any wrecking yard they have this very expensive data base (online) that tells this deep dark secret. (frankly the only way to make money doing so.... see?) swaps are a complex topic. ask maker, this.

What cause the radio not to turn on when l crank my truck?

gee, most modern cars cut out all things not needed to crank and start an engine, ever start a car at -29deg F? bingo why is that,if the engine is slow to start, it needs all the power it can find in the battery 500CCA? or does crank up means after engine starts, called RUNNING the engine, and or driving. I say the radio was installed fully wrong.. wire it to the cars radio fuse or cars , IGNition SWITCH Acc LUG.. tthere can be 2 power wires, one is memory, pin on radio an goes to fuses HOT all the time the other power wire, to RAD goes to radio fuse or to IGN ACC lug.

What do I reset after changing out a shift solenoid

Question edited for a lot more clarity, spelling 'silinoid' and others. You need a transmission specialist with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose why. Shift solenoids, PCM or communication problems. You can't fix this stuff by guesswork, it is electronics.

How can I bypass fan hydraulic pulley system for a 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9

It is not recommended to bypass the fan hydraulic pulley system on a 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9, as the system is an important part of the vehicle's cooling system. The fan hydraulic pulley system, also known as a fan clutch, is responsible for regulating the speed of the engine's cooling fan, which helps to keep the engine at the correct temperature. If the fan hydraulic pulley system is not functioning properly, it could cause the engine to overheat, which could lead to serious damage. If you are experiencing issues with the fan hydraulic pulley system on your 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9, it is important to have it properly diagnosed and repaired by a qualified mechanic. Bypassing the fan hydraulic pulley system is not a safe or effective way to address any issues with the system, and it could potentially cause further problems with your vehicle's cooling system. If you are having difficulty with the fan hydraulic pulley system, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic who can diagnose and repair the issue properly.

2013 Lincoln MKS. The power windows & sunroof randomly go down in my 2013 MKS. Can be at any time in driveway or shopping.

Question edited for clarity and add make. Question moved to make model category. Very strange behaviour, and very hard to diagnose things that are random. Possibly a communications error in the Body Control Module. An auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer may be able to diagnose and they can also record data as it happens.

I want to disable the Onstar in my 2002 Lincoln Continental. Does anyone know where the unit is located?

If you want to disable the Onstar system in your 2002 Lincoln Continental, you will need to locate the Onstar unit and remove it from the vehicle. The Onstar unit is typically located in the dashboard or in the center console of the vehicle. It may be hidden behind a panel or under a trim piece, so you may need to remove some components to access it. To disable the Onstar system, you will need to unplug the unit from the vehicle's electrical system and remove it from the car. This will disconnect the Onstar system from the vehicle and prevent it from functioning. It is important to note that removing the Onstar unit may also disable other features of the vehicle, such as the radio or navigation system, if they are integrated with the Onstar system. Additionally, removing the Onstar unit may void any remaining service contract or warranty on the system.
