What could be the issue with my turn signal for my 1998 Lexus GS 400?
Could be a broken indicator stalk switch or connector you may have to remove cover from around steering column switches to see connector( I think it plugs in in the bottom of switch unit )or find wiring diagram to find colour of wire that should feed 12 Volts and continuity when switch is on with a test lamp or multimeter.
Where is transmission dipstick in a 2006 Lexus gs430
Dependant on which side of the road you drive;
- On rear-wheel drive vehicles, the dipstick is usually on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the back of the engine. - On front-wheel drive vehicles, the dipstick is usually on the driver's side, on one side of the transmission.
Hi, I have a Lexus 220D on 57 (UK September 2007 March 2008) plate. I can't open the boot!
Question edited for clarity. We are a North American website.
.... and a British girl at that :>D Your vehicle looks like my 2005 ES330. I am British but live in Canada.
I was thinking there might be a fuse but I don't see one

Then I remembered... I think you will find there is a button in the glove box that disconnects the power to the boot open button by the driver's knee..
Another thought is that the boot rubber seals really stick tight. When you use the key and hear the click, pull up really hard.
Finally, the rear seat centre armrest has access to the boot on mine. Shine a torch in there and pull the emergency release lever on the underside of the boot lid. You may have to fashion a loop of rope on the end of a wooden dowel to reach it, or open out a wire hanger.

Why when I turn my wheel to the right on 2006 Lexus GX 470 I hear a metal scraping sound?
A faulty steering pump is the most likely I guess. You would need to jack up the front of the vehicle, support with axle stands and get underneath and above to check, whilst someone is turning the wheel.
I had a strange thing like that on my ES330, and I told the dealership it was the right front, and it was a worn wheel bearing on the left rear, worn rear sway bar bushes and worn vertical tie rod bushings on the right rear! Scraping noise on left curves at 60 kph.
