You can get a cheap scan tool on Amazon for $35. If you want to do it for free, you can disconnect the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes. After that though you will need to know the radio code and you will have to reset the security system.

Redi Hoxha The oil light only detects loss of pressure not oil level. Your oil pressure sensor or switch monitors oil pressure in your engine. It sends these signals to the ECU and to your oil pressure gauge or warning light. Swap out the oil pressure switch.
