My lexus rx 300 fan/ac is blowing on the wind-shield only and does not blow throuhg the instrument panel. what could be the cause?
How long have you been driving or owned a car? Your A/C is set on front "defrost" instead of main. Turn off the defroster for the front and select the switch to read "main" or if your A/C panel uses icons to display, press the one where it looks like the airflow is blowing air (represented by arrows) towards you and not the windshield. The arrows on your buttons or electronic display refer to which way the air is flowing. Choose the one you want where the arrows show the airflow is blowing out towards you and/or turn off your defroster. (If you have a knob to select airflow, turn it so it is no longer on "defrost" and it points to the main airflow blowing outward).
P0330 and p1130
I wonder if these two codes are related. P0330 could be due to a bad Knock Sensor which might affect the timing thereby causing issues with air/fuel ratio i.e. P1130
Would the knock sensor on a 99 Lexus 300 cause the transmission to not shift out properly?
Yes. Thanks to Dennis Weid, Robert Garcia, Colin Strickland, and "gingo12670" on this website, that is what I found to be the problem causing my 2000 ES300 to not shift more than once into overdrive without shutting my car off. Apparently if your knock-sensor(s) is bad it will send a signal (or lack of an expected signal) that will cause one of the "brains" to not allow a shift into overdrive since that would only aggravate a knock situation. The sensors are not an easy fix as the intake manifold must be removed. It cost me $750, but I am happy as a clam since the solution has eluded me for too long. My Lexus has over 200K miles but after flushing my transmission to no avail, but just now replacing both knock sensors, it now feels once again like a new car.

My 2002 RX300 constantly ejects the CD cartridge, discs properly loaded and inserted. Any ideas?
It sounds like the CD player is having a case of hiccups. I think the problem lies in the internal power circuitry. I suspect the issue has to do with the CD registration circuitry. No, this has nothing to do with whether the CD is an original or a copy. Instead, it has to do with the CD player's ability to recognize the physical disc.
When you insert a disc, the normal course of events is the servo registers or recognizes the disc as a CD and then moves the read head (the one containing the laser) into the 1:1 position so that it recognizes the first track and the first piece on the disc. Since all designs are, in general, based on the same principles, this step is either controlled by an sensor linked to a microswitch or it is controlled by a sensor that feeds positional information to an ECU (electronic control unit) within the player that compares the disc information to its programming.
If the disc is correctly positioned, the ECU tells the circuitry to start things up and tunes come out of the speakers. If it is not positioned, then the ejection circuitry fires up and the disc pops out. Here's the rub, as an oldtime poet used to say, if there's an issue with this circuitry your player should be replaced. It is possible that the positioner can be readjusted or that the positioning sensors can be realigned -- two steps that I would suggest you take next (you will need the service manual for your player for the instructions) -- otherwise you are looking at replacement of the unit.

How to change head gasket rx300 2009
This is pretty involved as you must remove top of engine completely. Top cover reveals all your air intake manifold and there quite of hoses, brackets to remove as well. Do you know which head or you planning to do both? A YouTube video shows the process of changing valve cover gaskets, which shows the efforts required to start this job.

My 2000 model rx300 fuel consumption is high what coul be the reasons 8
try running a tank of fuel with an addative in , get one that covers the catalytic convertor as well as the valves' injectors etc , take for a long drive at a highish speed to get the engine to a good working temperature , you may have to repeat this a couple of times but should help with the fuel consumption at the end of it
2003 Lexus RX 300. Auto door locks intermittently
Assuming you are not sitting on the key fob when this is happening, I think you must have a short in the wiring in one of the doors. Open the doors and check the wires that run from the body to the doors for any broken wires.
