Lexus GS 300 - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support - Page 7
I have a1994 Lexus gs 300. My quarter panel was hit and now my. Rear wheel is wearing out on the inside. What happened?
Well, if you were in an accident on the rear quarter panel, I might think that the wheel could have gotten hit as well causing it to be out of alignment. If your vehicle was repaired after the accident, I would return it to the shop and let them know that you are having issues with the tire wear and see if they can submit a supplemental to the insurance company to cover any part replacement, labor, and tire replacement. If your vehicle was not repaired after the accident I think I would take it to an alignment shop before the tire is completely worn out.

Emissions, somewhere, lots of possible causes. Usually a bad fuel to air/mixture causing the sputtering from the fuel not properly burning. Look for any error codes first and fix those first. A MAP is easy to change and cheap so often people replace that first if needed and move on to other emissions parts.
When starting my 93 Lexus GS 300 all it does is male a clicking sound but wont turn over or start
the starter contacts inside the starter are probably worn out. This is a very common fault on toyota starters.usually a couple clicks and it starts, then it gets worse,7 or 8 then it dies and just clicks.
the click is the solenoid moving back and forth.
if you remove the starter, you will see three small bolts on top of the solenoid assembly.open it up and remove the cover.Inside you will see two copper contacts, one on each side one is much bigger than the other. When the solenoid pulls in it connects the two.Remove the sets of nuts that the starter wires go to and the insulators and washers to change the contacts which can be bought from the dealer for 15 dollars or so. make sure to put the washers ,nuts etc back in exact order of removal.best of luck.i have repaired over 50 starters.the actual starter portion is not the issue.
