You would need to have the engine computer checked for trouble codes to proceed. The trac light off would be on anytime the check engine light is on.

what year is is, for one. Does it have distributor? It could be all sorts of things. If you have to diagnose it you need a fuel pressure gauge to see if it has right fuel pressure. Next, or really first, check for spark when not running by removing one sparkplug wire and having someone crank the engine and the wire end needs to be placed near a ground to see if you have continuous spark. you might need to stick a phillips screw driver to provide a better path for electricity to jump.
