Hi I would find the alarm unit and either dissconnect it or replace the ni-cads. At this age the rechargeable batteries will have failed so as it gets cold at night, the alarm thinks the voltage drop is a burglar! So set off the alarm : Cheers Roger

you should check ur spark plugs for the jumpy. and also if the car is a manual there might be a problem with the gearbox either the whole clutch kit is gone or just the master cylinder is not giving away the break fluid..

Back up lights have a sensor in transmission that actuate the the lights those sensors go out and can cause back up lights not to operate

take the vehicle to an accredited steering pump specialist and have the hose replaced before it costs a pump

Hi, have a good look on web, I was told similar over the top cost for ford focus, looked at web, and on that vehicle, insert key, turn on (till ign lights show, DO NOT START, turn back one click, then back to ign lights show AGAIN NOT STATRING, on board computer reprograms key. That worked for me.

they are bolted together & rust & auto repair are enemies. It may very well be possible. u can get a 2nd opinion if u want.
