My 1995 lexus es 300's radio and ventilation (ac/heat/vent) went out at the same time. The whole panel. I cannot even turn on a vent, nothing. I purchased the vehicle 2 months ago, when I purchase

As both the radio and ventilation motor packed up simultaneously, I suspect a common 12V positive feed, so if fuses ARE ok, then try unclip fuse box as far as possible to look for a burnt off / broken terminal. As you said p-locks & p-windows didn't work before, there might be loose connections hidden away under dashboard, behind console (center). Happy hunting!! :) Clive.

My trac off and check engine light both are on and won't go off. When I first start and drive the car, it's fine but after driving a few miles & both lights flashing the car will shut off

An oxygen sensor by itself should not cause the car to stall and have almost no power. This sounds more like a misfire, which is typically the cause of a flashing Check Engine Light (CEL). Since the CEL has illuminated, there should be a stored diagnostic code at a minimum. Many of the chain auto parts stores will read out the diagnostic code at no charge. Request the actual diagnostic code, not just the parts store's interpretation of the code. Unless the diagnostic code is very obvious (few of them are), don't necessarily purchase any parts without doing some further research. For example, a code of "P0302 - Cylinder #2 misfire" does not always mean the spark plug for cylinder #2 is bad. It could be a bad spark plug, but it could also be a bad coil, a bad plug wire (if your Lexus still uses plug wires), it could be a bad fuel injector, it could be a bad valve, etc. Similarly, a code for "B2S1 oxygen sensor out of range" does not necessarily mean the bank 2, sensor 1 oxygen sensor is bad, it just means something is causing that sensor to read outside of range. This could be a misfire, this could be an exhaust leak, it could be an exhaust restriction, it could be a wiring issue, or it could be a bad oxygen sensor.

How to change spark plugs... 2003 ES300

Hi!

You need New Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wrench Socket and Wrench Extension (at least 2-3 inch) size 10 socket and/or size 12 socket.
First of all, please check where the spark plug cover is. Once you figure that out there will probably be size 10 or/and 12 bolts holding it down. Take that off and there you will see sensors connecting to each other and holding the spark plug in the cylinders. Unplug all the sensors and pull out the circular plugs holding the spark plugs down. Pull them out and make sure that you don't drop anything into the cylinderes. You can look down into them and see the spark plugs. Get your spark plug wrench, extension, and socket wrench and stick them down in and push so that the spark plug wrench grabs them. Then unscrew the plugs, pull them out and put the next ones in and tighten them down. Just connect all the sensors, and put the cover back on.

Thanks for using FixYa and do rate if found this solution helpful.

Thanks

I have a 93 lexus

There's a short rod held in place with plastic fasteners that goes from the outside handle to the door latch. You need to take off the door panel upholstery panel to get to it. Sometimes you get lucky and only need to put it back in place. If the plastic part is missing, look if it's in the bottom of the door. It's a small piece, but is a dealer item. A automotive glass shop might have them but not likely.
