Head gasket

Depends where you live, can be anywhere from 1.5 -4 thousand. Call a dealer, then a few garages where you live to see what it runs.

2004 lexus is300 transmission removal

Ned, Thank you !! No one has said how you get to those starter bolts for removal. We are going after it now.. My son blew out clutch and we are doing a father son repair. We have removed exhaust, drive shaft and most everything, but that starter has halted everything. Now to get the starter out. That top bolt is not visible from any angle.See attached pictures3_9_2013_7_34_07_pm.jpg3_9_2013_7_34_39_pm.jpgInternet shot3_9_2013_7_35_03_pm.jpeg

How do I check to see if the heater coil is plugged

The fan is usually the problem - does the fan run? If the fan is good, remove the fan and use a mirror and flashlight to inspect the coil. It would be unlikely that the coil is completely plugged but it can happen.

The car will not start

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Have a 2001 lexus is300 with a code p1125 won't start what's wrong

The code is for a failed throttle control motor or circuit. You might check to see if the throttle control is plugged in, otherwise you may need a shop manual to test the component.
