Cooling fans are not running
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. The a/c and heating systems on cars today are pretty complex.
10 years ago replacing the thermostat usually did the trick, but today there
are electric motors that operate the "blend doors" inside the dash…directing
air flow from the heater core and A/C evaporator core to the cab of the
vehicle. Always start by checking the actual coolant level inside the radiator
itself to make sure it is full. Then feel the upper and lower radiator hoses to
see if they are hot (when the engine has been running awhile and has reached
normal operating temperature), then feel the two heater hoses leading into the
cab of the vehicle to see if they are both hot as well. If you feel a drastic
difference in one of the radiator hoses, replace the thermostat. If all the
heater and radiator hoses are pretty much the same temperature I would suspect
there is a control problem in the dash controls or in the blend door operation
and a visit to dealer or a qualified mechanic is vital. Please
do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
I NEED A DIAGNOSTIC SCAN
Their is no scan tool that can read this vehicle ,as its a europeon built vehicle the only thing you can read is the emmisions test which has to be allowed for the american market so it can be sold in america ,in europe from 2005 nothing can be read on this vehicle as its all encrypted along with nearly all other vehicles sold in the europeon market ,The only way is dealer diagnostics which connects with the factory via the internet ,Even resetting a remote key after a battery change is dealer diagnostic machine only and that includes changing the brake pads or even the engine oil .If i plug into a new mercedes it shuts down and only the dealer can reset the immobilisor .All diagnostics i do is with a automotive tester i have given up with buying scan programmes that will only work on older cars and cost a lot of money around the 2500 euro mark
Gallardo door is locked key battery went dead. How
Oops wrong spot.
For those that cant afford to give their old lambo away when the keyfob dies...
Look at the front of the key, theres a little indentation. Use a small flat head screwdriver to pry the two halves apart.
It should pull apart like this:
You will be working with the part without the key blade. Stick your two thumbs in the channel the key blade folds into and pull the lower half apart.
Replace the battery and reassemble. The car will now need to relearn the key. Remove the plastic key hole cover by lifting the door handle slightly and pulling upwards. Once in the car, stick the key into the ignition and turn the car to on without starting it. Press the unlock button on the key fob. You should be good to go.
2004 Lamborghini Gallardo clutch problems
I have owned the car only a couple of weeks. Delivered with minor faults - one touch up on the passenger window faulty, indicators sometimes refused to switch off. After 450 miles the clutch has gone. I tried a mega takeoff at the lights and left a mass of smoke - clutch smoke. Bit disappointing as it is supposed to be performance car. Apparently about 15% of Gallardo's have had new clutches!

Lamborghini gallardo superllegera 2008
The sensor is on the outside case of the transmission, check for damaged wiring or a pulled loose connector at the VSS sensor or upstream. I do not have exact info as this is a rarely seen make on this site.

As I'm sure that you'll appreciate, the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Convertible is not a model that the overwhelming majority of folks on here will have ever seen, let alone have experience of.
Because your vehicle is a very rare and highly specialised model it requires an answer from a specialist. Any other advice may lead to very expensive damage and potentially a long wait for spare parts and repair. Respectfully, and with the greatest of regret, the only safe answer to your question is to contact an authorised Lamborghini dealer.
Sorry that this is not the answer you wished for, but I hope that it has still been of some assistance to you.
