Your shift lever is out of adjustment and not allowing the lever to go up far enough to pass the stop and allowing the switch to turn ALL the way back to off position.

Now you need to replace the heated O2 sensor (s). There most likely is one upstream sensor that may be hard to get to let alone see. Lower O2 sensor is normally right there at the bottom where it's easily seen for replacement. Be sure they go in strait so they don't cross-thread. If one does go in a touch crooked, it won't seal and the check engine light will NOT go out. EVER.

Downshift when you're speed is too low for the engines power. It won't jerk then.

I don't know year--make--model? If a window motor goes out, the first one is usually the driver side window motor, cause you use it more than the others. W/o testing voltage and ground at the window motor, I can't be positive the window motor is faulty? Just my opinion.
