How do I change the voltage regulator on a 2005 r1200 cl boxer

Swapping the voltage regulator on a motorcycle can be tricky, especially on R1200 CL Boxer. Here's the thing: It involves electrical work, and that can get risky if not done carefully. There's a chance of getting shocked or messing up the wiring. The regulator connects to a bunch of wires and parts, so you need to know how to take things apart and put them back together right. If you're handy and have a repair manual for your bike, you might be able to tackle it yourself. But if you're not super comfortable with electrical systems, it's best to leave it to a pro. A qualified mechanic will have the experience and tools to get the job done safely and make sure your bike keeps running smoothly.

2013 Chevrolet Utility Bakkie 1.4. What is the torque settings on the crank and rods and head for a chev utility bakkies 1.4 2013

Question edited for clarity and toss in some CAPS.Good question Charlene, but 'Bakkie' is just a colloquial term for a pickup truck. For torque settings in such critical components you need the engine engineering designation which is something like '4YJB'. At the very least you need a proper model name. You might even find a Repair Manual online. This is the question below yours;'Nissan NA20S 2L torque specs head bolts'.Googleyear make model repair manualIt looks like it might be a South African Corsa also taking your surname into consideration?https://www.google.com/search?q=2013+chevrolet+utility+bakkie+1.4+repair+manualhttps://www.google.com/search?q=2013+Chevrolet+Utility+Bakkie+1.4.+torque+settings+on+the+crank+and+rods+and+head..

1983 Chevrolet K5 Blazer diesel. The water temperature gauge doesn't work and fuel gauge keeps shaking. Could it be a problem with the meter itself? Is there any other way to check?

I would check for a bad connection in the display cluster and being of that age when we used a 10volt regulator, that could have failed ot become intermittent.

I have a question for everyone, please help. CHEVROLET Typhoon's genuine fog lights and genuine left and right side mirrors no longer work. Where should I check? Where is the fuse located? A relay?

A very rare vehicle, only 4,700 made and the first performance SUV. Because of the rarity, this is the only reference I can find to fuses. fuse boxes are under the hood and in the cabin by the drivers knee or the end of the dash. The legend _should_ be on the lid. https://portal-diagnostov.com/en/2020/07/04/gmc-jimmy-typhoon-1992-fuses-circuit-breakers-fuses-circuit-breakers-1985-95-general-motors/ https://www.google.com/search?q=chevrolet+typhoon+fuse+box+diagram ..

Immediately after using the Rainbow, remove the water basin and pour out the dirty water through the air intake opening. Heavier particles will settle to the bottom of the basin as the water is poured. Once water is poured, remove the remaining heavier debris and dispose. Then wash the water basin with soap and water.

That was not a useable answer [looks to be easy] Just how is that answer going to solve the problem of removing 2 screws from license plate fixture to change bulb.

This appears to be aimed at me. I have answered this 3 times in 2 days to you and someone posting as Anonymous. I thought you missed them.Making a new post as a follow-up doesn't work on Fixya because are threaded to poster. This should have been under one of my answers by clicking 'Comment'.If the screw heads are chewed up, use a screw extractor. It is just 2 Philips head screws, unless a previous owner has changed them? If access is a problem I have a neat Cranked Screwdriver, the handle is right angled to the bit point. It was easy, because the videos showed it to be easy.Worst case scenario, smash it off, use locking grips on the remains of the screws and replace the whole unit. You could also wire in a couple of LED units left and right of the old one...

Found a hole along side the foundation on my house, about 6 inches diameter and at least 18 inches deepwhat should I do?

It depends where you live, but at that size and if you see spoil that has been dug out it could be racoon, fox, rabbit or groundhog getting out of the cold. It also depends if the hole is vertical or horizontal. If vertical, it could be a sink hole or subsidence. It is one of those things where a picture is worth a thousand words. You can refill the hole with the soil and see if it gets dug out again. For a more permanent solution fill with concrete.I trust the snowman got sorted out...

Have a 1994 full size blazer, no keys, how do i open rear hatch without the keys?

There's a clever workaround to open the rear hatch without resorting to breaking windows or costly repairs. Here's how: Interior Tailgate Panel Access: Gently pull back the interior tailgate panel right above the bump in the middle where the latch is located. There are no screws or bolts in that area, so it should pull away about 2 inches. Once you've created enough space, you'll need to reach in and push down the release bar. Unlocking the Glass: Feel around for the part that needs to be pushed down. When you successfully push it down, the glass will be unlocked. Opening the Glass and Tailgate: Now that the glass is unlocked, both the glass and the tailgate can be opened. If you want to leave the interior tailgate panel off temporarily, you can just push the manual release lever whenever needed. Remember, this method allows you to access the rear hatch without damaging the tailgate panel or ripping out the carpet.
