Replacing oil pump on 2000 jeep cherokee
Nope, that's pretty much it, make sure the slot that the distributor fits into is lined up or you wont be able to get it all the way in without bending something.

4.0 HO 6cyl 96 Cherokee
Oh Oh, better take that to a garage. When under power there is no knock but idling there is a knock? Sounds like a bearing on the crankshaft. To find out start and let it idle then disconnect and then reconnect the sparkplug wires one at a time. If the knocking stops, that cylinder is bad In any event it is bad news, rebuild or new engine
Sorry, Merry Christmas

1989 jeep cherokee skipping problem
it may not be the problem but check the earthing strip or put a new earth wire from the engine block to the shell or negative on the battery and see if this stops it, can happen if the earth is damaged or not connecting properly, as parts not getting the correct voltage.

I have a 93 jeep

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Front windshield washer
Check to ensure the front reservoir pump is connected and receiving power. Is the fuse bad?
It is possible the pump inlet is clogged. This would require removing the reservoir and flushing it.
If this is a washer with an external, self-priming pump, is the pump uptake tube in the cap missing?

Cruise control won't hold speed
This appears to be a common occurrence in some Ford Products. (i,e Taurus, etc, 2003 to 2010?) Seems the cruise control cable can catch on the uptake and fail to release. One way to check is to jack up the rear tires, start the car, (and engage the cruise control to attempt to duplicate the problem SAFELY. Look under the hood, at the behavior of the cruise control cable. Is it kinked, or snagged? If so, re position the cable slightly to clear any possible obstructions. Good Luck!

Coil keeps burning up
I think you might need a coil that has a built-in resistor, the coil you have been using uses an external resistor. ask at the parts store for a resistance type coil. should be the fix 4 ya or it might be a wiring problem standard coil uses the full 12v and after it starts it cuts the voltage down in the run mode. usually done at the starter's solenoid, so if you changed the starter recently it could be wired wrong.
let me know what you find

My jeep does not turn over, but it makes a horrible grinding noise
for a vehicle to feel different and empty , it begs the question --did you get into the right vehicle
would not be the first time that the key fits the switch of the same make of vehicle but belongs to some one else
next have the service center check for loose starter and other bits falling off
run the fault codes

Radiator fluid went everywhere!
Basically, and most likely, a leak from a hose, over heating from a stuck thermostat, a leaking radiator, cooling fan not working properly, or a bad radiator cap not keeping proper pressure on system. I would have the system pressure tested for leaks. I would hesitate on driving it until issue is resolved.

We have 1992 Jeep Cherokee
Get yourself an ohm meter or just a regular test light, start from there, check wires to fuse box and behind gauges and so forth, if the light don't light up, most likely is a break in the wire, can also be an electrical switch or another possible fuse If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at

Headlights are not bright enough...
Make sure you have a good ground. There are ground straps from engine to frame and frame to body. Make sure they are all hooked up and clean.
