it sounds like the lift mechanism/regulator has worn out or siezed and needs replacing

check the brake light switch

make sure the door handle on the outside has returned to normal position, sometimes the cold will make them stick. The door opens but the outside handle sticks open and the door won't latch. Hope this helps.

The Owner's Manual should tell you what the "S" is for. It could be for Service, which would mean you need work done on the car. It could be something as simple as a Tune-up, or more complicated such as a sensor going bad to the really complicated repair of needing a new timing belt.

Having a restoration shop and running several newer Jaguars I have seen similar situations. Intermittent multiple errors such as these can be caused by a low battery (or corroded connections) that "fool the computers". Also had a '99 XJ8 VDP have exactly the same issues over several months. Issue was a manufacturing fault in the sensors on the throttle body that caused the "limp home" mode - usually in stop and go traffic. Jaguar had an inspection and recall on the throttle bodies but that vehicle had gone through 3 different Jaguar dealers for service and none looked at TSB/Recall or performed the necessary checks on the throttle body. Tried cleaning the throttle several times (per Jaguar TSBs) but no change. Had to replace throttle body & problem solved (over 30,000 miles since then). Recommend making sure all air connections to throttle are clean and open and cleaning the throttle area to see if that helps. On newer Jaguars (and other Al bodied cars) similar problems occur when the "ground" connections to the body become poor (usually through corrosion but sometimes through collisions). Connections may look perfectly normal but have high resistance. Careful when working with the connections - the posts are usually very loosely fastened to the bodies. Good luck.

there could be lots of reasons. you need to get a obd2 code reader or someone with relevant diagnostic gear to help. sounds like you have a problem with the can network the drivers door module is part of that system so is the security system. it may let not start the engine go to someone with correct diagnostic equipment thats my advise

its easy just follow the instructions in your kit

first job is to check the part load and main beather hoses are ok the stability system light may be a false indicator if the engine has stalled best is to get fault codes out of the ecm with a code reader to help but air leaks on the engine inlet side can cause strange/seeming unrelated symptoms

Hello That usually happens when you have a loose regulator , which in effect would not set the window properly. The regulator has to be in good condition for the setting to stay as it should be,

check the PNRD safe switch located on transmission

The light will go off only when the fault in the ABS system has been repaired.

In short you can't.
