2012 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. I am replacing pads and rotors. What is the proper sequence for flushing the brakes

When replacing brake pads and rotors on your 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, it's important to flush the brake fluid to ensure optimal brake performance. Here are the steps to follow:
  1. Gather the necessary tools and supplies: brake fluid, a brake bleeder kit, a wrench, and a clear container to collect the old brake fluid.
  2. Start with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, which is typically the passenger rear wheel.
  3. Locate the brake bleeder valve on the caliper. It's a small valve with a rubber cap on it.
  4. Remove the rubber cap and attach the brake bleeder kit to the valve.
  5. Have an assistant pump the brake pedal several times and then hold it down.
  6. Open the bleeder valve with the wrench and let the brake fluid flow into the clear container.
  7. Repeat this process until you see clear, new brake fluid coming out of the valve.
  8. Close the valve and remove the bleeder kit.
  9. Repeat the process on each wheel, working your way from the passenger rear to the driver rear, then the passenger front, and finally the driver front.
  10. Once you have flushed the brake fluid on all four wheels, check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder and top it off if needed.
  11. Test the brake pedal for firmness and ensure that the brakes are working properly before driving the vehicle.
Following this sequence will ensure that all of the old brake fluid is flushed out of the system and replaced with fresh fluid, which will improve the overall performance and reliability of your brakes.

What's does it mean when your P,R,N and D gears are blinking?

This usually indicates a problem with the transmission control module (TCM). You should have a qualified mechanic inspect and diagnose the problem, as it could be something as minor as a faulty TCM or something more serious such as a transmission failure. Replacement of the TCM or other components may be necessary to fix the issue.

2005/6 Hyundai Tucson. Why is the slave cylinder arm lever fully extended?

It sounds like something not put back correctly or adjusted. Was the slave cylinder arm push in when you bled the system? There may be air behind it. Did you use a pressure bleed system, slave up to Master. Lots of help in the links. https://www.google.com/search?q=2005+6+hyundai+tucson+clutch+master+cylinder+replacement https://www.google.com/search?q=2005+6+hyundai+tucson+clutch+adjustment

Hyundai getz 2007 rough idle with what sounds like a missfire

If you've already replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body and valves, and added a sealant for a potential block or gasket issue, but are still experiencing rough idling and misfiring in your 2007 Hyundai Getz, there are a few other things to check:
  1. Ignition coils: These can sometimes fail and cause misfires and rough idling, even without triggering a check engine light. You may want to test them to see if they're working properly.
  2. Fuel injectors: If they're dirty or clogged, they can also cause rough idling and misfires. Try cleaning them or having them professionally cleaned.
  3. Vacuum leaks: If there's a leak in the vacuum system, it can cause rough idling and misfires. Check for any cracked or disconnected vacuum lines, and test the vacuum pressure to see if it's within the normal range.
  4. Mass airflow sensor: If it's dirty or malfunctioning, it can cause rough idling and misfires. Try cleaning it or replacing it if necessary.
  5. Compression test: If all else fails, it's possible that there's an issue with the engine itself, such as low compression in one or more cylinders. You can perform a compression test to check for this.

Hyundai H1 Van 2.4 don't want to start

What EXACTLY does it do when you turn the key? This will give clues as to what the problem could be. First check the fuse for the starter relay. It's in the fuse box under the hood. I think on the H1 it is fuse 2. *NOTE* Only replace fuses with one of the same Amp rating. Fuse 2 is a 40A rating, Usually Orange in colour. A few questions. Does it physically turn over or does it do nothing at all? If it's doing nothing do you get any noises? This will sound silly but open the hood and get a helper to listen to the fuse box. Can they hear a quiet click as you turn the key? Do you get a louder single 'Clunk' noise as you turn the key? Does it turn over evenly but not try to start? Does it turn over, cough, try to start then stall? Comment below with more information and I'll try to help you more.

2007 Hyundai Tucson dome lights do not come on when either drivers side & passenger door are open... The lights work when I push the interior dome light buttons, just not when I open doors.

If the dome lights on your 2007 Hyundai Tucson do not come on when the driver's side or passenger doors are open, but they do work when you press the interior dome light buttons, there are a few things you can check to try to determine the cause of the issue:
  1. Check the door switches: Make sure that the door switches, which are located on the inside of the doors, are working properly. If the switch is not working, it will not send a signal to the dome light to turn on when the door is opened.
  2. Check the wiring: Check the wiring that connects the door switches to the dome light. Make sure that the wiring is not damaged or corroded, and that all connections are tight.
  3. Check the dome light fuse: Check the fuse for the dome light in the vehicle's fuse box. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same amperage.
  4. Check the BCM(Body Control Module): The Body Control Module controls the door switches and the dome light. Make sure that the BCM is not malfunctioning.
  5. Check the Sunroof switch: Make sure that the sunroof switch is not malfunctioning, sometimes that switch is used to turn on the dome light, if the switch is not working the dome light will not turn on.
It's important to have a professional technician to diagnose the issue and confirm what the problem is before trying to fix it. If you're not comfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to contact Hyundai dealership or a mechanic for further assistance. https://amzn.to/3XfuL5A https://amzn.to/3XvaZTe

2003 Hyundai sonata why it won't start? I've replaced al my spark plugs a coil packet for the 5th cylinder and the battery

no country told why do that? lots of engines used P0305 DTC error? that error means weak combustion #5 and lots of causes, not just spark plug 5. replacing any 6 cylinder coil pack wrong gets the firing order now wrong, replace HV x6 wires 1 by 1 never ever all at once, OOPS? it has 3 dual coils on one bracket and must be wired in proper firing order or it will NEVER RUN. Security lamp (angry) IMMO can not be failing the lamp security (or will not get fueling to run)!!! ever. never have just 1 key or land HERE X. (doa) USA answer V6 engine. it had 2 engine options new. USA.2003 2.5 L Delta V6 2.7 L Delta V6 bingo for USA. 2.7L (G6BA) real name ! 305 means and in proper order this
  1. compression is bad on #5
  2. spark is bad on #5
  3. or injection rates #5 are dead or wrong mix
order is because cant burn fuel on any dead engine,"compression test) cant burn fuel if spark is dead and last , if fuel rates are wrong so be weak combustion #5 also if car could run and drive far P0300 may pop up because you never ever replace the cam belt. all Hyundai engine are interferance and if belt not serviced the engine blows up, the head valves bend and even 10x worse, we can show photos of the destruction on this engine all day long, never serving the cam belt at 60- to 100k miles USA mile ok if not here say so and we can k meters all day long. step 1 is always keep battery charged, or electronics go wacky or asleep as the service manual says page 1. the tool is a battery charger.

Where is # 1 cylinder located on a 2008 Hyundai Tucson

The location of the number 1 cylinder in a 2008 Hyundai Tucson is determined by the engine type and layout. Hyundai Tucson 2008 models comes with 2 different engine types :
  • 2.0L I4 engine
  • 2.7L V6 engine
In both engines, the firing order is 1-3-4-2, and the cylinder layout is inline or straight. The cylinder layout of the 2008 Hyundai Tucson with 2.0L I4 engine is inline 4-cylinder, meaning that the cylinders are arranged in a line, one after the other. In this configuration, the number 1 cylinder is typically located at the front of the engine, on the driver's side. The cylinder layout of the 2008 Hyundai Tucson with 2.7L V6 engine is V6 engine, meaning that the cylinders are arranged in a "V" shape. In this configuration, the number 1 cylinder is typically located at the front of the engine, on the driver's side, and it's the first cylinder on the left bank.

If I change the head and valves on a Hyundai H1 must you put a computer on the car to reset a code?

That will be the least of your problems. If you are removing the head and replacing the valves you will be disconnecting the battery and that erases all the codes. Your biggest issue to get right is the camshaft valve timing. This is a big job for an experienced home mechanic, and is not for the faint of heart. Think carefully if you are up to this task, I have serious doubts that you are. First job is to get a Service Manual and read it cover to cover. Then you need a full set of open ended and ring wrenches, a full metric socket set and a Torque Wrench. Then you will need to hire some tools, a Camshaft locking kit, and a Valve spring compressor to remove the valve collets. You need a full head gasket kit and some gasket sealing compound. Then with new valves you will need a hand held valve grinding tool (a wooden dowel with a rubber suction cup on each end) and a tub of coarse and fine grinding paste (double ended container). You could just remove the head, take it to an engineering company and say '"fix that please". You fail to tell us whey you think you need to undertake this task?
