Yes cam sensor can have that effect. The management system needs to know which stroke the timing cylinder is on - the crank sensor supplies information about crank angle and the cam sensor tells it which stroke it is on.
Sounds like its the bar that goes from the latch in the side of the door up to the handle. It will need to be reattached. If that dosent seem to be the problem you may want to replace handle and all bars in the door with parts from your local junkyard.
only one way here and thats to remove it again and check the clutch plate is fitted the right way around ,the spring flange goes to the outside of the flywheel and the flat side to the flywheel and you have fitted this the wrong way around thats for sure ,sorry to upset you but even us professional have done this if its any consolation ,i done it to a nissan serrana last year as phone rang then someone turned up and my hoppo who was helping me misunderstood my directions ---WELL I HAVE TO BLAME SOMEONE
There r 2 cables on a gt 6 speed that r located at the top of the engine in back.. Do not touch the rear cable unless ur tibrron is shifted hard. The front cable is ur drift idle, theyre 2 nuts tightend den to secure it at a certian level , untighten the nuts and simply ajust the 2 nuts backwards do the cable isnt so tight and allows the engine to drop idle wen accelerater isnt pressed. Then do the same to the rear cable(2nd) cable untill u have ur tibron sounding just right..only sol_tion
It means you will either have to walk, hire a taxi, or get a friend to drive you.
Seriously, if you are looking for reasons as to why your car won't start, you will need to provide a lot more information starting with Make, Model, Mileage, Maintenance history, and what happened just before it stopped running.
Cheers
Do you have any warning lights?
A faulty camshaft or crankshaft position sensor can cause this problem.
Don't just go and replace sensors - get somebody to do a diagnostic check first
You have a tire problem, either out of balance or a knot caused by a bad flat repair, and you can cause damage driving for a long period of time with it in that condition.

Not sure for 98s. But you need to erase the codes to start. If the problem is still there, Check the wiring to the transmission. You need electrical diagrams.
