I have just had the same problem but solved it.
Firstly, I went to Halfords and purchased a spray tin of Bradex Easy Start.
Then loosen off the air filter cover and give a quick spray inside.
Turn the engine over and bingo, it should start.

What you need to look for is whether the smoke from the exhaust is white. If it is, there is too much unburnt fuek in the engine and the problem lies with the glow plus.

HelloThe best thing to do here is to take the car to an automotive trim repair shop, the seat will need to have the cover taken off and an appropriate repair made, the trim shop would have the most experience with this type of repair and would also be the most cost conscious place to have it fixed. I have never had this question come up on this year and model so it is not a common issue that is for sure.

Possibly the fuel filter may be clogged. I’m leaning more toward a vacuum leak, or ignition coil(s) could be failing. Local parts stores can & will read for any codes usually for free. But Hyundai is known to have shorts in ignition system. That would have to be traced & found to be repaired. There is no code for that, so you might end up buying parts you don’t need before finally realizing it was just a bad wire or connection!

You likely left an interior light on and with everything else it drained the battery. Charge the battery, get the car going, and then take it to a battery shop to check if the battery is still ok. The interior lights, especially the light in the cargo area, are very easy to inadvertently trip the switch on. For example, removing or putting cargo in the rear hatch. Also, I have installed a battery charger at my battery so I can plug it in to maintain a charge, as these cars use energy when idle for various functions (theft monitor) that deplete the battery if it is not driven frequently.

Get a helper to pull and let go of the release lever while you look through the front grill at the hood latch. Your looking to see if the cable is moving. If it moves try pushing down on the hood hard then pulling it up hard. Do it 2 or 3 times. Sometimes this will free it. If it is not moving it will take a bit more work and a LOT of patience. Using a flat blade screwdriver push it through the front grille and hook the release trigger to open it.

Your slave cylinder is situated around the input shaft. The transmission has to be removed in order to replace.

you must remove the heater control assy do not remove cables it will slip out enough to turn bulb housing counter clockwise to obtain axcess to bulb alanwrench

Had same problem. 2002 Santa Fe. It is the fuse that says Tail Light (rt). They are connected, as well as with the visor light. My visor broke a while back, so I took it out, leaving the wires to dangle. Apparently, the wires were touching up top and shorting out. I took out the connector up there and now no problems.

Tail lights or brake lights? If its the running lights it might be switch if its brake lights then its what guy b4 me said.

Without jabbing at the XM help staff or Dealers who wont mess with the small stuff, (no money in it)
try going to a high-end car audio shop. If they sell decks that came with Sat. radio they should be able to help. You will not have been the first person to ask for help with this!!
