Door locks 2013 hyundai santa fe

The rear door problem is the lock actuator. The problem with locks keep activated when you close driver door. My uncle's Santa Fe has same problem and couldn't fix problem under any circumstances. I even rebuilt the entire lock system didn't help

Transmission filter on 2003 hyundia santa fe

In 2002 they discontinued the external trans filter. So your vehicle could have the external filter. If you look next to the trans dipstick tube, on top of the trans case you will see the filter or you will see just a spot where the filter use to go before they eliminated it. Yes, the filter does llok like a regular engine oil filter. If the trans does not have the external filter ontop then there is no service to the filter to be done, the only recommendation is to bring vehicle into a shop to have the fluid flushed. By the way, make SURE you use the correct Hyundai SP-III trans fluid (not dexron/mercon). This fluid is specific to the Hyundai and can not be purchased from auto parts stores, only the dealership. Failure to use SP-III will cause premature wear to the internal bands and clutches.

2700 a Santa Fe SE limited. When I hit the button once to lock the doors the alarm will go off I have to physically walk outside put the key in the door lock unlock the doors to get the alarm to stop if I hit the Panic button it does nothing if I hit the unlock button it also does nothing to stop the alarm. Also note when the alarm Started acting up all of the roof top interior lights quit working

Sounds like your auto locking/alarm system is out of sync with the buttons on your key fob. You will need to reset it so the fob buttons match what they should do. You will need to go to the alarm system manufacturer for directions on how to do that.

Starting problems with my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe

I have an 03 Santa Fe as well and just had the exact thing happen to me. One day, it just wouldn't turn over at all and I had to have it towed to the dealer. They replaced the "crank shaft position sensor" and now the car is fine. I am not sure if this is your problem but it might be worthwhile asking someone to check it out.
