The dome lamp has a switch that can be put into several positions. "Door" "Off" and "On" If you want the light to come on when you open the door then you must have the switch in the "Door" position.
The "Off" position will only let the dome lamp work when you override it with the dash control and the "On" position will leave the light on at all times - door open or not.

if you follow the positive+++ lead from battery it will lead you to starter located at back of engine nearest the bulhead make sure you remove/disconnect the battery earth lead 1ST b4 you commence work also if radio is code type ensure you have code for rest after work done out of curiosity?? what are you needing starter location for ? we may be able to help you with problem ? b4 you start or renew starter unnecessarily ? just a thought ??

You can bypass the ac compressor by using a 82" belt. Feed the belt from the back of the engine at the water pump. Disconnect the power steering line at pump. It's a lot easier if you use some type of hook to hold/maneuver the belt. (I used a bent rebar) Follow this routing diagram I created. Bam! No more ac problems!

level sensor B is pass side yes if level sensor is not installed correctly it will not read proper level and would make cel go off at empty it is possible that side A and side B be mixed and installed in the wrong sides

the motor to move it back and forward may have gone out or the switch died

Sounds like shifter linkage or trans linkage has come apart or broke. Check all linkage between the two.

Exactly which driveshaft do you mean? The one that goes front to back, (prop shaft), or the driveshaft going to the actual wheel? If you are going to remove any of the drive/prop shafts you will need to drain the transmission oil. This will stop it dribbling all over the floor when the shaft comes out of the transmission! REMEMBER to Refill the Transmission BEFORE you drive it! The 'prop shaft' is the easier of the two to remove BUT they are VERY heavy so have someone help. One end is fastened to the Differential flange with 4 bolts, the other sliding on a splined shaft at the transmission end. Driveshafts to the wheel are a lot more work. You have to strip the lower half of the suspension to get the shaft out and the 'castle nut' at the hub end can be very tightly fitted.

the speedo and odometer are electronic, the speedo will need to either be repaced or repaired.

Hi..I bought 3 vehicles from JD byrider. They always install their GPS in the wiring harness behind the instrument panel. U can tap into any wires that feed directly to battery. (IE) clock, alarm, charger port that works when key is off..etc...

I'd love to know how this turned out as have the same problem with 2009 Santa Fe now. Broken rear window has been removed but cant open the hatch. I have removed the internal liner and all the lever rods are attached. A bit of glass inside the door and I have tried banging on the door to unblock it. Squirted CRC in the area and will leave until daylight and have another go.

Stamped on the left hand side of the engine block or it should be on your documents.

If this is to get correct parts, call the dealer as they should kep it on their database
