2003 Hyundai Elantra. I locked my keys inside! Is there a way to get inside the trunk?

No, the way to get in is to call a locksmith. They slip an air bag between the door and frame to open the edge a half inch and then insert a bendy rod to pop the lock. It takes 5 minutes. Or you can buy them from Home Depot and it will take you 30 minutes.

2014 Hyundai Elantra. How to fix P2159 Error please?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to sub category. The P2159 diagnostic trouble code is most commonly fixed by replacing the vehicle speed sensor. Keep in mind that ABS components, other trouble codes, and aftermarket tires may be responsible for this code being stored by the PCM. Take time and complete a thorough diagnosis before replacing the vehicle speed sensor.

2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start, but has power. Trying to put car from park to neutral.

Is it possible that the battery isn't fully charged? The interlock is electro-mechanical. Turning the ignition on and putting for foot on the brake should release the shifter lock as you said. For starting issues you need to connect a scan tool and check for DTCs.

How do I learn why a fuse in my car keeps shorting out? I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. The fuse I refer to covers the headlights/doors//ac & heat.

You have a short to ground. It is normally wiring in the harness that is subbed through somewhere on it journey to the items covered by the fuses. For all those, I would check behind the fuse box. Are you sure it is covering all those? And the fuse box diagram agrees that is multiple fuses :>)

Hyundai Elantra 1995 how do I adjust petrol revs ? show detail

On most modern engines the engine speed is controlled by the ECM, (Engine Control Module). To alter the revs the vehicle will need to be plugged into a specialist software setup to alter the tuning of the vehicle. Why do you need to alter the Revs? If they have changed a lot there will be a reason for it. Are you getting any warning lights on the dashboard? What exactly is the vehicle doing? If there is a big change in the revs you possibly need to get it plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to check for trouble codes. If you need to pay for this service get prices at 4 or 5 garages as prices can be Very different! Use the comment button below with more information and I'll see what other help I can offer.

Hyundai Elantra 1.6 1997 model overheats after it has no power. What could be the problem ?

Check for water in the oil (gooey foam after running) - blown head gasket. Check for exhaust smelling bubbles in the radiator - blown head gasket. Otherwise heat activated fan switch (on the radiator) is not coming on soon enough or at all. No fan will overheat an engine especially if a lot of stop and go or idling on warm days. Most common is a stuck thermostat, blocking circulation. Other causes are a blocked radiator - shut a warmed engine off and feel the radiator all over - if too cool in some areas, it is possibly getting clogged up inside. If you are getting radiator antifreeze smell inside the car (fogging the windshield when the car starts in cool weather) your heater core is leaking.

Hello. It seems your rack and pinion unit is at fault. The left side of your car's rack and pinion unit is 'stripped'; making left turns hard to make. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
