Have a2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6

there is a vent that allows vapors to escape while we refill our gas tanks. on your car the vent does connect to a vent valve then to a charcoal canister. you would check the vent valve first then the canister for blockage.

Hyundai accent front parking lights not coming on. only the back light coming on. also turn signal working on the back lights but not on the front. front is dead. headlights are working great

You have not indicated the year of the car, but the most likely reason for your problem is the wires are broken or unhooked to the front. I would wonder if the car were in a front end collision and was improperly repaired. Take a test light and test the sockets that plug in to the lights, and see if they have current. Also, check the ground wires, if they are bad, the lights will not work. Also, check the fuses, under the dashboard and also under the hood of the car to see if there is failure. God bless your efforts.

Hyundai accent 2007 belts are squeling upon startup. After 15 minutes they stop squeling?

Over time, belts get a glazing, slicker, or will stretch out some. Sometimes you need to replace the tensioner arm. Since it typically is cheaper and quicker to replace the belt(s), I would do that first. If that doesn't fix the issue... the next potential problem would be the tensioner arm or pulley. Semper Fi, Z

Check engine light

There are several things that could cause this, the quickest way to find the problem is using a code reader. Under your dashboard, normally on the left side, there is a standardized connector made to plug a diagnostic reader into; it may have a plastic cover over it but the connector has a number of round pins recessed. The code reader is plugged into this and the device reads the static memory that records error messages generated by the computer using inputs from numerous sensors on your car. These are displayed on a small LCD and need to be noted so one can decode the numbers from a manual or installed software on a standard computer.
The code readers range in price from ~$30 to nearly $200 US and are available from any auto parts store or many stores on line.
If you have no urge to own one, any service shop will have them  and charge you a couple of bucks to retrieve your codes and translate them.
