Look at the videos it brings up -- it may not show exactly a 2001 Accent, but you should be able to find an engine that looks like yours and see where the MAP Sensor is.

the accent should be an hydrolic type, and what you are saying says to me the, clutch plate and cover is exstreamly worn and needs to be replased , ie bent toggels ext, but firstly make shore nothing is restricting the clutch pedal being depresed under the foot well

I hunch your fuel pump is bad. Do this to make sure. Locate and unplug the pump relay, take a short piece of wire and jumper terminals #30 to #87 if the pump runs the relay is bad if nothing happens leave the jumper in and use a hunk of wood to bang on the fuel tank if you hear the pump start the pump is bad and will fail soon so replace it, if nothing happens check terminal #30 at the relay for battery voltage it should be there use a cheap test light to see, if OK it gets harder check #87 back at the tank with the relay jumpered you should have voltage there it should light your test light, if not the wire is broken between relay box and the tank, finally it could be a computer problem but I doubt it. Many people do this and leave to relay by-passed instead of repairing please don't it will upset the Vehicle Emission. I hope this helps. Take Care.

Does your car have a manual transmission?
If so it could possibly be your throwout bearing.
That can usually be checked by slightly pressing on the clutch pedal. If the sound goes away then it is definitely your throwout bearing

You have not indicated the year of the car, but the most likely reason for your problem is the wires are broken or unhooked to the front. I would wonder if the car were in a front end collision and was improperly repaired. Take a test light and test the sockets that plug in to the lights, and see if they have current. Also, check the ground wires, if they are bad, the lights will not work. Also, check the fuses, under the dashboard and also under the hood of the car to see if there is failure.
