If it's the clip that holds the wires plug onto the bulb, don't worry about it. It will stay on anyway. Just when you replace that bulb, be real sure you wipe the bulb really well of any oils from your fingers that may be on it. I you don't the bulb won't last very long.

Hook it up to a computer to see what codes pop up. This will tell you whats going going on. possibly its a speed sensor that is on the air intake area. Get a bottle of Lucas Injector cleaner, this helps clean out the injectors and the crud they collect.

Use a test light and with the key on is there power to the center wire on the socket, does it have a good ground?
Drivers side window not working
the red/yellow and red/blue are the power/ground wires to the motor. You should get power on one and ground on the other when you operate the switch. The polarity should reverse when you operate the other direction. The blue wire is a pulsar wire to give motor feedback to the switch.

Check wiring that runs along driver door hinge to the switch. You will find a rubber boot and door harness is located inside. Check these and if you find any damaged or broken, repair.
