Read transmission codes,it is asking to have a problem looked at.

Make sure all body grounds are clean and tight. Not only must the battery ground be clean and tight, you have body grounds also to make sure proper power gets to the instruments. There's a ground on the instrument panel also. Make sure it's connected. At least 2 grounds to the body under the dash must be clean and connected tight. Don't strip the screws out, just be sure they are connected.

Did you replace the window controller in the drivers door? The one on the driver side controls both. If you did, then you have to replace the one on the passenger door. Both have to work, for it to work. I put the addition info for anyone that has the same problem.

Yes, do check the coil by pulling each wire from the cap to find which one is not firing. It could be a cracked distributor cap also.

check the drop links they don't like bumps. fitted to the anti roll bar and the strut ( suspension strut ) change both side at same time. to check it is these grab it and pull about if it feels like its moving easy then replace. should be stiff and no movement when pulling. these make a clunking sound when they go.

Fuses 15 & 19 and a tail light relay

Anne, Sounds like yo have a bad ground somewhere in your electrical system. The ground connection for your tailgate light should be close to the bulb,...follow the wires from the bulb it should terminate to the body of the tailgate or it may run all the way back to the main body of the car. If it does, it may be breaking at the flex point where the wires have to flex every time you open your tailgate. Clean this connection off and check you tailgate wires (at the flex point) if it does terminate on the main body. As far as the locks...I don't know where to start!

Open your door and it should be a lil cover piece behind the mirror take that off then it should be about three bolts holding the mirror in place

You can do it alone, just remove the bumper, there should be a bolt and nut there and somewhere near the fender. The lamp will be free then.
