1700 is a generic code for many makes and models referring to a transmission issue.1751 is directed to the shift solenoid valve b. May be able to replace just that solenoid and be ok. Cheaper than a transmission.

Low oil pressure will cause the tappets to chatter and in worst circumstances, the main bearings to become noisy. I would complete an oil and filter change using the recommended grades from your owners manual first. If still noisy, it is probably down to poor/lack if servicing and too late to stop.

I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

With extensive experience in this model I would say check the fluid condition and level. If the transmission fluid is up to level and red, not burnt, then it is likely due to wear of the clutches and will need to be rebuilt to resolve the issue. Try pulling it up while operating the motor. Perhaps it came off the screw drive.

There are two fuses that must both be good for the passenger low beam to work. Fuse 4 and fuse 6. If they're good, you should see battery voltage on the red/green wire in the bulb socket.
