My info says, for 10.5--11.5--12.5 ring gear
tighten nut 52 ft lbs, loosen nut, then finger tight, If you need to loosen just a bit to line up key-way, that's fine. I don't know the socket size, good luck. It's always best to verify specs. I can only post what my database showed?
Check to see if the belt is still turning the p/s pump. I'm betting it is but it won't hurt.
Check to see if the power steering fluid is full.
If it is empty than you need to figure out where it is leaking. Could be the pump, hoses, steering gear/rack and pinion, or the hydro booster.
If it is not emptythan remove the belt and pull out of the power steering pump pulley. If it pulls out of the pump replace the pump. Pretty common with newer gm vehicles.
Make sure you post a Year, make, model, and engine size? This always makes it easier to help you out! I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa
Well.... other than GMC, I have no idea what kind of vehicle we are talking about. YEAR, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, TRANSMISSION (auto or standard) and 4X4 or 2-Wheel Drive would be helpful in MOST cases if you are wanting specific information for your vehicle.
With all of that said, I can only tell you that I have seen several GMC models that have had bad solder connections at the wiring connector socket where it is soldered to the instrument cluster printed circuit. It usually starts out as an intermittent problem and gradually gets worse until things quit working all together. This can affect dash lights, gauges, warning lamps, turn signal indicator lights, etc., etc.
This could also be caused by a defective headlamp switch depending on which model and year we are talking about. Other models have dimmer switches that are separate from the headlamp switch for the dash lights. These can also fail and cause the symptoms you are describing.
try looking at fuse panel and look at diagram to locate flasher or hazard relay, most time relay goes bad and there is a better relay available.you can get it at local parts place or dealership
when you push on the horn button do you hear a click.if so this is the horn relay working which tells you that the button, fuse, relay and wiring is good.there is a fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.it may be that the horn needs replacing even thought the truck isn`t very old.
Allways been bad U-Joints, or a bent drive shaft that has caused the drive shaft to vibrate between such speeds.
Does it shake when accelerating hard up to 50mph? If you aren't getting any shaking in the steering wheel, and it feels
like it is coming from the front, then it sounds like bad axles (mainly
bad inner CV joints).
Try rotating the tires back to how they were before the shaking started,
and see if it changes (not likely if there's no shaking in the steering
wheel). Check this fault in two sample video:
Sample 1
Sample 2
Another thing, check all the suspension bolts you undid to change the
coilovers. Make sure everything is tight. Did you neutralize all your
suspension bushings before tightening the bolts? If not you could be
getting bushing bind. To neutralize suspension bushings: loosen the suspension bolts, load the
suspension (either the car sitting on the ground or the jack stands
holding the car up by the suspension not the lift points), tighten the
suspension bolts.

should be driven for 30 miles all highway miles to reset the exhaust filter. do you let your truck idle a lot. because the new trucks you can cut them on and off just like you would a gas truck. idle will make filter build up faster and running around town alot of stop and go . Don't be scared to blow it out that is really all you are doing is blowing it out. Your owner manual should have alot more details in it about cleaning your filter out. If i can help just re post.
Thanks dodge tec
