2016 GMC Sierra 1500 pick up truck. How to replace an 02 oxygen sensor on it please?

You actually have 4 of them, an upstream and a downstream on each bank of cylinders. You only replace the one that failed. The code will tell you, Bank 1 or Bank 2, and Sensor 1 or Sensor 2. https://www.google.com/search?q=2016+gmc+sierra+1500+replace+o2+sensor ..

Got an 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with 4.3 engine with a crazy mess

It's a guess, but yes, you have one or more stuck injectors and when you power off the pressurized gas in the system is going into the combustion chambers and seeping past the piston rings. When you pull the relay, it is running on the fumes from the oil pan. You need an auto electrician, a professional grade scan tool computer can diagnose in 30 minutes. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

Where's the input speed sensor on a 2012 GMC SIERRA 1500 WORK TRUCK 4.3

4wd or 2? well the RPO tag tells you which tranny box is there, and matters. some cars have more than one transmission used, GM sure. 4L60E is common. 700 is useless code means tranny problems but 717 sure in turbine speed, and is on the tranny oil pump the turbin connect to the pump. 8 transmission use no counting the diesel so learn to read YOUR PRO codes. ALL GM cars /trucks all have RPO codes. (as builts) and will tell you in 1 second what M coded transmission is there Mxx but this this sensor is not easy reach. I will do just 1 the 4L60, have full manual on it. 2photos for you of ISS, (aka) Automatic Transmission - 2ML70 Automatic Transmission - 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E Automatic Transmission - 6L45/6L50/6L80/6L90 Automatic Transmission - Allison id 249 249-undefined-undefined-0.jpg IN this photo deeper, we see 250 ID.and the pump in your hands, or TC removed.TC does not fall out of cars, we yank the whole tranny back on a tranny jack tolleysorry not easy . 249-undefined-undefined-0.jpg iss-undefined-undefined-1.jpg iss-undefined-undefined-2.jpgiss-dehhnb1wpsvicunnstb3ad50-d-4.jpg iss2-dehhnb1wpsvicunnstb3ad50-d-5.jpg

2011 GMC Sierra. I have changed the transmission twice, it will only go into 1st, 2nd, and reverse.

Seems to have a history of issues. You need someone with a pro grade scan tool computer that is able to monitor the module and sensor data. https://www.google.com/search?q=2011+GMC+Sierra.+transmission+will+only+go+into+1st%2C+2nd%2C+and+reverse ..

1999 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with a 5.3 motor. My 4l60e transmission has no reverse or second gear.

Rather than swapping out, why not get the one you have repaired and rebuilt? Doing swaps with other model years only works reliably a year either way because of changes in the electronics. https://www.google.com/search?q=transmission+repair+near+me ..

Where is the turn signal flasher on a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE

The flasher looks nothing like the old flashers. It will be located behind the drivers side lower dash (under the steering wheel). It will be a small black box that is about 3 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 1 inch thick. It may be somewhat difficult to locate because on some of the GM trucks they actually hide it behind the gauges but to the left of the gauges. in the link 1/2 way down shows location and descriptionhttps://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/104429-where-is-the-turnflasher-relay-on-an-03-2500/

2010 gmc 1500 padlock on dash turn key on for 10 min then turn off for 2 min still will not start disconnect battery then hook back horn activate use key to turn it off

can it be the silinoted ???? Solenoid is the correct spelling . Your best bet , have it towed to a qualified repair shop . This is a computer problem , not the solenoid . The padlock light lit , anti-theft system problem , more then likely . Guessing is not the way to fix this . Hooking up a factory or some other professional type scan tool an checking code's in the anti-theft module an the ECM - engine control module . Your 10 min. key off an wait 2 min won't work on your vehicle . You need a factory scan tool to do a reset 10-Minute Immobilizer Relearn This 10-minute relearn procedure will relearn the prerelease password and the challenge/response data between the theft deterrent module (TDM) and the engine control module (ECM). Connect a scan tool to the vehicle in the pass-thru arrangement. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Ensure that all power consuming devices are turned OFF on the vehicle. On the Techline Terminal, select Service Programming System and follow the Techline Terminal on-screen instructions, using the Pass-Thru method. Ensure the correct programming selection is chosen based on component being replaced or programmed. For this procedure, go to the V.T.D. Vehicle Theft Deterrent Learn menu and choose the Vehicle Theft Deterrent Learn, ECM, or PK3 Replaced selection. At this point the scan tool must remain connected for the duration of the 10-minute relearn procedure. Important: • The scan tool will initially display 12 Minutes. The first 2 minutes allow the scan tool to initialize the appropriate control module. The remaining 10 minutes is the relearn timer. • On some vehicles the security indicator may be illuminated for the duration of the 10-minute relearn procedure. Observe the scan tool, after approximately 10 minutes the scan tool will display "Programming Successful, Turn OFF Ignition". The vehicle is now ready to relearn the key information and/or the passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. Turn OFF the ignition and wait 2 minutes. With a master vehicle key, turn the ignition to the RUN position for 15 seconds, then start the vehicle. The TDM and ECM have now relearned the pre-release password and the challenge/response data. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs. Circuit Description (Key Start) When the ignition switch is placed in the Start position, a discrete 12-volt signal is supplied to the body control module (BCM) notifying it that the ignition is in the Start position. The BCM then sends a message to the engine control module (ECM) notifying it that CRANK has been requested. The ECM verifies that the transmission is in Park or Neutral. If it is, the ECM then supplies 12 volts to the control circuit of the crank relay. When this occurs, battery positive voltage is supplied through the switch side of the crank relay to the S terminal of the starter solenoid. The easiest way to check to see if this is all correct ,is by hooking up a scan tool an viewing data parameters . The immobilizer system functions are provided by the theft deterrent module (TDM) and the engine control module (ECM). When an ignition key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition is switched ON, the transponder embedded in the head of the key is energized by the exciter coil surrounding the ignition lock cylinder. This exciter coil is part of the TDM. The energized transponder transmits a signal that contains its unique value, which is received by the TDM. The TDM then compares this value to a value stored in memory. If the values match, the TDM will send the prerelease password via the serial data circuit to the ECM. If the transponders unique value is incorrect, the TDM will send the fuel disable password to the ECM. When the ECM receives the TDM prerelease password, the ECM will challenge the password. The ECM sends this challenge back to the TDM via the serial data circuit. Both the ECM and TDM perform a calculation on this challenge. If the calculated response from the TDM equals the calculation performed by the ECM, the ECM will allow vehicle starting. The components of the theft system are as follows: • TDM • ECM • Ignition key (Transponder) • Security indicator Your best bet , i say again , is have a professional technician sort it out . Or you'll waste your money buying parts your don't need .

Cooling fans on a 2006 gmc sierria 1500

The normal way to test at the dealer or any other qualified repair shop would be to hook up a professional scan tool an check for coolant temp sensor data input , also to see if the PCM/ECM - engine computer can control ( turn on ) the cooling fans . Also check for codes . Three relays that are controlled by the engine computer are what turn on the fans . Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn6jLSyqYA4
