2003 GMC Envoy. The radio and cluster lights wont shut off when the vehicle is off?

That tends to point to an issue with the BCM and its data network. You need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose the issue as it is a strange one.

My 2002 GMC Envoy continues to blow hot air on driver side but not on the passenger side or anything how do I fix that?

I would look to the blend door actuator. Sounds like the left side has an issue.

On my 05 GMC Envoy the serpentine belt keeps coming off , even after I've replaced the idle tensioner pulley, could my problem be the water pump or crankshaft?

Crankshaft is unlikely. Could be water pump, probably the alternator is misalligned.

How do I get the key out of the ignition switch on a 2004 GMC Envoy 4.2?

Got a new vehicle Joe. Just what you need with the gas prices as high as they are!! Did you get rid of the 1998 Ford Contour? Foot on the brake and go though the full shift range and then back to park. That should release the ignition lock. It appears to be a known issue. Check out the videos https://www.google.com/search?q=get+the+key+out+of+the+ignition+switch+on+a+2004+GMC+Envoy+4.2 ..

Why won't my 2004 envoy start after I put a new battery in it

When you change batteries, always maintain power using jump leads, a battery charger/maintainer or a couple of lengths of wire. Is the security light flashing? https://www.google.com/search?q=2004+gmc+envoy+security+reset ..

XL. Why is 'reduce eng.' light on?

Reduced engine power is a problem with the electronic throttle control . You need to have a scan tool hooked up to read codes stored . REDUCED ENGINE POWER: Refer to Powertrain Control Module Description in Engine Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Reduced Engine Power Mode When the PCM detects a problem with the throttle actuator control (TAC) system the PCM enters one of the following Reduced Engine Power Modes: • Acceleration Limiting--The control module will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control, however the vehicle acceleration is limited. • Limited Throttle Mode--The control module will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control, however the maximum throttle opening is limited. • Throttle Default Mode--The control module will turn off the throttle actuator. • Forced Idle Mode--The control module will perform the following actions: - Limit engine speed to idle by positioning throttle position, or by controlling fuel and spark if throttle is turned off. - Ignore accelerator pedal input. • Engine Shutdown Mode--The control module will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.

4.2l. Where is oil pump?

Hello. Your GMC's oil pump at the bottom of the engine block; covered by the oil pan. To access it; drain the oil and remove the oil pan. The 'oil pickup tube' is bolted to the oil pump 'cavity'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Why is the a.c. blower staying on after the key is turned off in my 2002 gmc envoy?

you see those fuses, pull/replace them one at time till you pull the fuse that kills the blower motor, then we go from there. see the 40 amp fuse on the left, that is for hi speed. The two middle fuses should only go hot with the key on. Everything off and key out use a test light to check voltage at those two fuses, shouldn't be hot? I can only help with testing. I'd hate to tell you to replace something and it not fix it. blower motor-dj1h02cwlwix42qxwbnktubx-6-0.jpg

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy, I drive home last night park ,come back this morning shift lever will move freely but not out of park. Could this be a pin bushing?

It definitely sounds like you have a bad shifter cable. Not a very expensive part, but can be a pain to get changed.

What cause a power steering pump shaft to break on a 2004 GMC envoy?

When you place the wheel in a hard lock position ,the power steering pump relies on the pressure by-pass valve to operate instead of the valves in the steering box to open and allow the pressure to by-pass back to the reservoir.. When you hit hard lock and you hear the motor load up just ease on the turn and the pump will operate as designed. The turn will still be the same -just that the pump is not under full load . Breaking the shaft is a sign of excessive load and a misaligned pulley so check that the belt is directly in line and the pump is square to the belt line. For more help click the link below https://carrepairworld.blogspot.com/2021/05/causes-of-pump-shaft-broken.html This will help. Thanks

Where is the fuel shutoff switch?

battery has a full charge and battery connections all good? There is no fuel shut-off. engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? At the fuel pump, gray wire is voltage, black wire is ground. Engine cranking, if you have good voltage and ground at the fuel pump but no fuel pump action, suspect the fuel pump. fuel pump-3o1tdplnlwfx01kddaotwqgw-6-0.jpg
