It sounds like you have an air pocket in your system. By the RH strut tower take the heater hose loose from the metal line and fill the cooling system when coolant starts coming out reconnect the hose. If that doesn't work jack the car up where the over flow tank is the highest point and fill the cooling system.

check your battery cable connections....

Check the obvious things first. Any coolant leaking? My water pump failed, and was leaking from a little hole in the pump. Check all hoses, radiator, heater etc for wear/cracks/holes. Next the thermostat, it's a cheap part that often fails. (take it out, drop it in a cup of boiling water, if it opens it is working)
Is the fan working? Should be on when the car is very hot, (example sitting at the lights with no air flow) if not I'd try disconnecting it, and run wires to the battery. If that works, you know the fan is good, and the problem is a fuse, or the temp sensor, or worse.
Always use coolant not tap water, (except in emergency) as corrosion can form and damage your engine.
If it's really hot ?? it could be a head gasket, cracked or warped head. (check for steam coming from your exhaust) and coolant loss.
Get it fixed ASAP, because thermostats, hoses, and water pumps, and fuses and fans, are much cheaper and easier to replace and repair, than your engine.

PS, check your oil for water (grey not black or brown), and oil in the coolant, both signs of bad head gasket, or cracked /warped head.

What is a AU2??

Possible GEM module issue. Have the dealer run a function test on the GEM.

Check the fuel injector ground circuit from the ECM

Manuals for cars aren't free. You can buy them at an auto parts store. Either a Chilton or a Haynes manual should do and will cost around $20. They are great manuals for the whole car. Let me know if you need anything else.

check the alternator fuse and grounding

replace the relay, jumper wire wont work, there is a small set of points inside the relay, there probably burnt, or stuck open

Check the voltage on your battery. When the battery is low, you will still have lights and what not but not enough juice to start the car. Check the condition of your battery cables especially your ground. If everything check out fine, your problem may be a bad starter or the solenoid. If you replace the starter, replace the solenoid with it. Be sure to check the cable from the starter solenoid to the starter.

Code 13 for ford has it as: air bag sensor or crash sensor problem. May need to take to dealership for fix.

Replace the bulb that stays on and doesn't blink, if that doesn't solve the problem, let me know.

lower dash drivers side generally , the lid/cover will detail what fuse does what function , also most radio's will have a fuse at the rear of the radio so if the fuse box one is ok then will have to get radio out and check fuse(s) at rear

Was the new key programmed ? What contacts are you referring to?

The security systems pass lock is disabling the vehicle. This usually happens when the ignition switch does not recognize the ignition key and/or a defective fob or the battery in the fob needs to be replaced. If you ignition key is too worn. This could possibly be your problem

disconnect the catalytic converter/muffler and see if that helps. If so, you've got a plugged converter/muffler
