Windows open by themselves when car is locked

It sounds like the remote needs to be replaced. On a lot of the remotes when you hold in the unlock button for a few seconds the windows will go down. This can happen when you least expect it like when the remote is in your pocket.

2002 Ford Focus SVT. Diagnose, while driving, a clunk, then vibration, attempting from 1st to 2nd shift, none occurred. Won't shift even to neutral. What things could be? Manual 6 speed transmission.

If you cannot change the gears when the engine is not running, then you probably have an internal transmission problem. Could be input shaft or cluster gear assembly

2000 Ford Focus Heater fan not turning on. Blows

Hi John,This should be fairly simple. I have uploaded a PDF file to Filesonic.com that contains both the Power Distribution Diagram for Fuse #64 and the Heater Circuits for your 2000 Ford Focus. You can download this file for FREE at the link below. Please note that if you do not have an account with Filesonic, you can still downdload the file for free, but you must use the "Slower Download" link at the bottom of the page. You will then see a timer running in about the center of the page. Once the timer runs out, it will give you a captcha code to enter in order to start the download. This file will only be available on Filesonic for 3 days, so you might want to save a copy to your computer for future reference.http://www.filesonic.com/file/3040758464/2000_Ford_Focus_Heater_Circuits.pdfOnce yo have the file, you can clearly see that the ONLY thing that is powered by that fuse is the blower motor. That makes this task very easy. Most likely, the blower motor itself (or the solid state circuits built into it) are shorted. Here is how we PROVE it before going out and buy a blower motor:1. Unplug the blower motor connector. Replace the fuse with the connector disconnected. If the fuse blows, then the GREEN/ORANGE wire between the fuse and the blower motor is shorted to ground. You will have to follow this wire from the blower motor back to the fuse block to find out where it is shorted.2. If the fuse does not blow, then take a test light (make sure it uses an incandecent lamp - the LED type will not work for this purpose) and connect it between the GREEN/ORANGE wire (ignition switch ON) and the BLACK/RED wire at the blower motor connector. Using the blower motor speed control switch, the lamp should not light at all with the switch in the OFF position. Then it should light and get brighter with each step as you move the switch toward the HIGH position. If this all works as described, then we have just proven that all of the circuits are good and that you need to replace your blower motor.3. If anything does not work exactly as described, tell me what it is doing that is different, and we can continue diagnosis if needed.Hopefully, this is all the information you need, but if you do need anything else, please let me know. Please also remember to take a moment and rate my service through the FixYa web site.Thank you for your patronage,-Dave (dttech)

2004 Ford Focus 2.0 SOHC. What is the fix for P0606 and P0303 codes please?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. The P0606 fault code means that there's an error with your power control module (PCM). Your PCM is the computer inside your car that monitors all the vital systems. Basically, it's the brain of your car. Every time you start the car, the PCM runs a series of checks to make sure everything is okay.

How to Fix the P0606 Fault Code - Solo Auto Electronics

What the P0303 code means. The P0303 DTC is set when the ECU detects multiple misfires from cylinder 3. Misfires cause the ECU to set the Check Engine Light and put the vehicle into a failsafe mode to prevent damage. The Check Engine Light will remain until the code is repaired.

2008 Ford Focus 2.0. Hi my name is Kathy. I went to the store came back, I was about to leave out again now car won't start it turns over but won't crank back up please help.

Question edited for clarity, and ' want ' to ' won't ' a contraction of 'will not'. Question moved to model category. 'cranking up' is the same as 'turning over'. A vehicle that doesn't crank, does nothing. You are cranking but not firing / starting. It could be many things, but the obvious one is out of fuel / bad fuel gauge. If not that, it is electronic (sensors maybe) and the only to diagnose that is with a pro grade scan tool. You can also check the battery for voltage with a digital voltmeter and also check the voltage when you turn the key. If the voltage drops below 11 volts, it won't start.

The rear hatch on my

Before doing any other troubleshooting on a 2003 Ford Focus hatch release problem, try THIS... The hatch release button is a triangle. Push the button on the very bottom point of the triangle. For some reason, mine did not work when pushed in the middle and only works when I push it at the very bottom point... slightly off in any direction and it does not work. Strange but true.
