Dodge Grand Caravan - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

You probably blew a fuse. Find your owners manual and locate the fuse box that contains the fuses the protect the seats. You probably have a bare wire under the seat which when grounded shorted the system causing the fuse to blow. The same fuse could also control the door locks and other systems. If you do not have a manual, go to this website below.

Check for an open fuse. If the fuse is OK, the motor may have failed.

I really don't know the answer to your question but you can turn it on and test all fuses to find which is blown. Or, what I did was to place the '2006 dodge grand caravan fuse diagram' in your search box and press the search and look down the list to find which is yours. That's how I got the full diagram for my '99 ranger just to find which fuse powered the speakers so I could put a switch on it. It always drained the battery and this switch on that fuse worked. No more battery drain.

It’s in the driver side under the hood and accessible from the Fenderwell or On Top, fairly simple, I’ll post a diagram with instructions.

Check the hose connection to the heat exchange. If there is a leak there, you will smell it inside the vehicle and you may not see a leak on the ground as it evaporates when the car is running.

There is no external fuel filter on this model. Chrysler stopped using fuel filters on most models in 2003.

If the fuel pump and injectors check out OK, then this is likely an intermittent throttle position sensor. Sensor thinks the engine
Is flooded and shuts off the injectors.
This may never set an engine code.
