Modern car radios are often connected to and monitored by the BCM (body control module). Aftermarket radios don't communicate on the computer network and that causes issues. Some of the cars features are operated through the car speakers like door chimes and reversing signal tones. If you have a console shifter, there should be a round plastic plug to pop out, insert a small screwdriver and push down to release the shifter. On the column it is under it. Push up to release.

Go back and ask them to do it. Tell them we said they should have done it, and they must do it for free. It literally takes less than 2 minutes! Very often the car will automatically turn the Engine Malfunction Light off after about 3 days of driving. It is sampling all the time and will realize the fault is no longer there. ..

Dash lights are complicated as power is supplied by a ribbon cable that also does other features. Check the Light Dimmer wheel first as that is the main reason for having no dash lights..

To change the CV (constant velocity) axles on a 2010 Dodge Avenger with a 4-cylinder engine, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need a jack and jack stands, a lug wrench, a torque wrench, a pry bar, a hammer, and a replacement CV axle.
2. Raise the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Use the jack to lift the vehicle and place jack stands under the frame for support. Make sure the vehicle is stable and secure before continuing.
3. Remove the wheel. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel and remove it.

Have you connected the aftermarket unit properly? If you have hooked the main power up to a permanent live power in the car it will continuously draw power. Only the memory wire (yellow) should be connected to a constant power, the main power should be from an ACC switched power. If the radio has been installed correctly there will be no power loss while the ignition is off.

In this new wording, it sound like you battery is defective. I would have it load tested at an Interstate Battery outlet. Or the alternator isn't charging. You still need an auto electrician to diagnose with his scan tool computer.

Some vehicles may use a "stretch to fit belt". There is no tensioner. There is a small tool that is used to install such a belt. The ones I looked at, around 12--15 bucks. Your local auto store may have one? I don't know if you can use it to remove belt, I've never used one. If you have no need for a used belt, just cut it off. YouTube has video for "stretch to fit belts".

You may have the wrong bulb installed. Although they mostly look the same, some have different configurations.

learn to scan all modern cars first or go broke fast, or even faster wasted hard labor costs. ouch. they told you wrong gee there can be 50 causes, I bet they lied about that, even 50 leaks inside the trans can do that, and they add up. or bad pump or bad pump regulator or bad PCsol, or the leaks overwhelm all that. a real shop checks line pressure first after the scan first. the 400 PSI gauge tool is connected to box main line test port. plugged pulled. then pressure checks in all PRNDL modes per the tranny manual the modern transmissions of pressure solenoid that sets pump pressure to spec at the shift lever demand then the TCM selects shift solenoids to do all gears in sequence. if a speed sensor is dead then you will be in first gear or the TCM puts you into LIMPHOME mode, gee scanning told you this if true. all the tests are in the service manal why no do them? https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp 3.5L engine uses this box 6-Speed Automatic 62TE Trans knowing the box model to start any works is super important or 40TE; box, 4 speed? they used both. or 41TE. the 4 speed has PCsol,pressure conrol SOLENOID the 6 speed has Pressure sensors. speed sensors must show good ,scan tool complains on all these errors no looking is shame, rent the tool and save cash.
