You can test the ABS sensors by disconnecting them temporarily. The Engine Malfunction check light will come on, but will go off a couple of days after reconnecting them. Also check things like ball joints and tie rods for play. The problem is probably moisture at the spark plugs and/or connectors, remove the connectors spray some q20 or similar moisture dispersant into connectors & over spark plugs

Possible causes could be the coil, ignition module, wire, or the computer(ECM). There are 2 drivers in the ECM that fires two coils at once. 1 and 4 fire together and 2 and 3 fire together. Say, if 1 and 2 don't fire, then it is a mechanical problem. Most likely a blown head gasket. Compression test will find out.

Need to recheck the electrical work done. All I'll say is, Some people should not be allowed to do electrical work. I solder all my joints together.
