Chevrolet Venture - Popular Questions, Answers, Tips & Manuals
My 2002 Chevy Venture shakes in the rear at 40 mph and up. I balanced my tires and it still shakes
The most likely reason is that they said they balanced the tyres and didn't!
Chock the front wheels and jack up a rear wheel and spin it. Look at it for up and down movement. Then looks at it from behind as someone else spins and look for bulges and wobbles. Take the top and bottom of the tyre and rock it, push the top and pull the bottom, back and forth see if there is movement? Do the same on the other side.
Then remove the jack and push the vehicle the vehicle as though you were trying to spin it sideways. Does it wobble? It shouldn't move. The next test is harder on a van, you want to see if the rear bounces, are the shocks gone.
Where is the air conditioner clutch relay?
It's in the under hood fuse box. Hopefully the fuse box has a legend on it that will tell you which relay is which? Your owners manual may have this info? Some owners manuals you can look at online for free. Notice ac clutch relay in diagram.
4cyl. Where is O2 sensor?
Good Morning Gary, would love to get a little more information from you. This vehicle actually has two sensors in the exhaust that deal with Oxygen and fuel to help the engine run correctly. The one you are probably asking about is on the exhaust about 6-12 inches from the exhaust manifold. It should have 4 wires running to it and be screwed into a threaded port on the exhaust pipe. This sensor is called sensor 1.
