You will not be able to fix it. Found one on RockAuto.com for $315.00 with a core charge of
$250.00
BBB / VISION-OE 9920102 {#4500} Reman Info
LS Model; LT Model; Z Body, w/ Electronic Power Steering
Had to replace mine. There was a factory recall on this so dealer replaced free of charge. Check
it out with your dealer.

The usually isn't one, because you could break into the vehicle and remove the fuse and defeat it. It is powered from the ECM or BCM computers.

And I am right, there isn't one

I have a 2012 malibu and looked this same thing up because I just put on a seat cover, on the driver's side head rest, looking at it from the back seat on the driver's side, there's the normal looking latch that let's you adjust the headrest down, but on the right side you'll see a little indentation in the plastic that you can also push down and if you press both at the same time, you can remove the headrest.

Welcome to Fixya

Raise the front of the car then slide under the driver's side of the car and locate the starter on the engine where it meets the bell housing. Unplug the "S" connector from the terminal on the starter and lay it aside. Remove the nut from the "B" terminal with a wrench, then remove the battery cable from the starter. Locate the mounting bolts and loosen it. Slide the new starter then tighten the bolts.

There should be a section in the owners manual to tell you how. Most Chevrolet have a release lever under the dash right above the e brake pedal.

Yes you can't drive it with the seat out. The air bag light will stay on and the air bags will be inoperative. Once you reinstall the seat everything should go back to normal.

Tip & How-To about Cars & Trucks
Resetting a Vehicle Anti-Theft System
This is how you reset an anti theft system if you have the anti-theft light on, or your car is cranking, but you have no spark.

Doing a full reset of the anti-theft system.

Disconnect both battery leads for at least two hours.
Hold the negative and positive leads together for 5 minutes to fully discharge any power.
Put the key in the ignition, but not turned on. VERY IMPORTANT!
Connect the positive lead.
Connect the negative lead in one swift movement.
Wait 15 minutes for the system to fully reset.

I believe it should be in the back portion of the air box under the hood.

If the engine mixture is correct and the engine does not misfire, I would leave it until around 100k Miles. Spark plugs tend to last a lot longer than years ago.
