95 Chevy Caprice Classic My heat in my car don't work the blower motor works just fine

Use a garden hose and flush your cooling system (specifically the heater core) to clear out any blockage or buildup. Once the water comes out clear put the hoses back on and refill the radiator and overflow tank with 50/50 Antifreeze and see if you have heat. If not the next thing to check/replace is the heater core itself.

Replace fuel pump on 1995 caprice classic

Un plug fuel pump wires at back of tank mounted on the frame at very rear of car. Remove hose clamps at back of tank going to filler tube and vent. Place a jack with a piece of would on the top of it under the center of the Gas tank. Remove the straps that criss cross the tank. Two in front and two in back. Very slowly lower the tank, there are some fuel lines going to the fuel pump that need to be removed if the tank comes down too far you could bend the pump lines. You will need fuel line tools to remove the lines from the metal lines coming from the pump. Once these are removed lower the tank the rest of the way and pull tank out. There are about five or six 10 mm nuts on the top of the pump hold down ring. Remove the nuts. Then slowly remove the pump from the tank. Be careful of the float for the fuel level you may have to lean the pump to one side as you remove it from the tank... you will only need to replace the pump not the whole module on this model..The pump is in the plastic module. Unplug the wires going to the pump then unsnap the plastic top. Remove the filter from the bottom then push the pump out. Reverse steps with new pump.

Fuel relays on this model almost never go bad. If you hear the pump its not a relay. But just because you hear the pump does not mean the pump is working right. It may be loosing pressure...

Loss of spark was also a problem the the 95 4.3 v8. and the distributor located at the front of the engine behind the damper and water pump was the problem and very expensive....

We have a 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic coupe, 305 cid 2 bbl carb. The horn and the dome light aren’t working. The headlights, marker lights, turn signals, radio, etc. are working. Would appreciate any input as to why just the horn and dome light are inop. We will get a new bulb for the dome light, as the one in there is the same light that was in it when I bought the car approx 12 years ago. It’s the horn we’re most concerned about.

There's a 15 amp. fuse and a relay in the underhood fuse block, you should be able to hear the relay click when you hit the horn button If you don't hear a click it may be in the steering column but before you disassemble anything get some electro-contact cleaner and spray it in the crack under the steering wheel as you turn the wheel hopefully this will clean the "horn ring" and make the relay click. I hope this helps. Take care. If None of this works let Me know here if I can help, it will show up in my email.

1994 chevy caprice no heat. changed termostat.

Heater core is plugged or you have a air pocket. If you take off the heater lines and try blowing through them both ways. The fans will not move until the engine gets hot.

94' Caprice Fans not turning on to cool motor = overheating motor

Do this test with the key in run but engine off unplug the ECT (engine coolant temp.) sensor, if the fans turn on (does this by default) the system is ok, if not then check the Fan relay. Also look for burning of the electrical connections to the cooling fans.

Caprice engine/speedometer

Sounds like battery cable is no longer connected to the battery post clamp. These can be repaired but I would recommend a new cable or cables. Parts store can ook up correct ones. Be sure battery terminals are clean before installing new cables.

Replacement clutches are available and you can have the clutch replaced. However, there may be a problem with the compressor bearings and the entire unit/system needs to be checked as well.

You got to be careful because sometimes your brake switch sensor can go bad and when it does whenever you hit your brakes your brakes work but your brake lights do not turn on but you see your brake lights on so I would definitely check the brake switch sensor that's probably your issue
