1997 Chevy Blazer interior lights won't shut off

I would check the door jamb switches. The front door ones are mounted in the side of the dashboard.

I have '97 chevy blazer.

None of these things are related there all separate issues. The window problem is in the door control master switch . the abs could be a wheel speed sensor vary likely and the blower motor could be an accuator or a bad vacuum switch or a bad connection at the blower motor or the resistors .

How do you preset radio stations

If you have buttons on your radio that allow you to switch stations, it generally is simply a matter of pressing and holding the button in place for 10-15 seconds. The year, make, and model of the vehicle doesn't say much, as vehicle may have an aftermarket radio. Just find the station you want and if there is a are button presets, just push and hold it in. On most of my cars, old and newer that I have owned, confirmation of the setting is generally accompanied by a beep. Good luck! JD

I have a 1999 Chevy

p0300 should be multiple missfire. check for compression these engines tend to bend valves very easily if ran on old gas or a batch of bad gas. causing it to missfire in more than one cylinder. they also crack heads between valves if overheated.

My 1997 chevy blazer failed

The OBDII / OBD2 connector is 18" from the center of the center console.

4fec700.jpg

You will need to purchase an OBDII scanner/reader to read these codes.

The alternative method is get a OBD2 cable and a laptop + software to pull the codes.

===
An inexpensive OBD2/CAN bus reader around $75-$120 is a good start.

Did the inspector mention anything about drive cycle or lack of stored readyness fields?

95 blazer 4x4 4 door w vin 4.3 v6 ignition problems

4.3L , L35(RPO engine) has 1 fuel pump relay PCM controlled has 1 fuel pump.oil pressure sensor , too. not sure at all me what a pulsator might be.Ahh Dampener. what matters is spark first, it must have spark or the PCM cuts fuel dead on all EFI car. (if the PCM detects spark bad in ANY WAY) the comes cranking the pump just receiver 12vdc cranking KEY ON ONLY is only 2sec prime puls best is forget that unless have 2 person to test prime, but cranking matters first. some new pumps are silent, (like top Bosch) so sounds prove little. today what really matters is PSI pressure cranked, the PCM brain or the oil pressure switch allow the pump to have power cranked, and running. that is how to test it, cranked only. "starting with start fluid, but now it just cranks over ,only." does this mean starting fluid now fails.? we check spark at all spark plugs no just 1. we check oil pressure to, if zero PSI cranked that is bad . last is fuel pressure if not at spec, it will not start. spec fuel pressure is 58-64 psi yes some fuel rails or near by or near tank, have pulsator that is really regulator/dampener. it prevents old cheap pumps from madly pulsing the rail and causing injectors to mess up. vane pumps do make pulses some worst tan others, (some even by pass it, but there is their call) Is this a TBI throttle body injection? or MPI. the SM states this. (it has a 2 second prime for sure) If the engine does not run, turn the ignition ON, but do not attempt to start the engine. Listen for the fuel pump to run. Within 2 seconds of turning the ignition ON pressure should be 58-64 psi (400-440 kPa) while the pump is running. Once the pump stops, pressure may vary by several pounds, then it should hold steady. If the pressure does not hold steady, wait 10 seconds and repeat this...

ABS brakes shudder

YOU NEED A SCANNER TO MONITOR THE WHEEL SPEED SENSORS. THE ABS IS SENSING A SKID AND THE ABS IS ACTIVATED WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THERE MAY BE A CODE FOR THE HUB THAT IS CAUSING THE ABS TO ACTIVATE.

CHECK THE WIRES FROM THE SENSORS FOR BREAKS OR CHAFFING. AN OHM READING OF THE SENSOR SHOULD BE 850-1200 OHMS, AND AND A-C VOLTAGE READING SHOULD BE 100 MV WITH YOU TURNING THE WHEEL BY HAND.

RATE ME, PLEASE

I have a 2001 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4. The transmission seems to pulsate under acceleration but if I press the gas a little more the motor revs but the transmission loses power badly. What could it be?

4wd , A/T box. brake are bad, and engine misfires.> we SCAN the PCM for P3xx or P7xx codes misfire and A/T errors (never skip this !!!) you do know any transmission brain (TCM will get confused if the engine is weak or misfires right, so engine is first to worry. but you said engine REVS (rpm up high) and car is slow and or transmission fails to up-shift, to 2nd in drive.?????? any tech in any shop sees the car, and scans it first. and see OMG dead transmission speed sensors or sees, gross misfire, or must drive it first to see what is going on. if up-shifts fail at the documented shift points the transmission is bad. or just 1 sensor on it. this is called DRIVE_ability issue that can only be solved by tech driving it and seeing it fail. not the blind, not me,but the shift points are what matters. and if the tech feels misfire or power loss even in 1st gear. he knows the engine has a problem. (or even both) 2001 is old car, most cars this old have like 10 ignored problems in the wild. classic that. or bad spark plugs and bad speed sensor both, a wild guess and common for sure. post VIN or the RPO code so we can decode drive-train there.

Had a solution posted on

You have to count the flashes. It repeats each code three times. Those flashes are the number codes. All of the codes are two digits. One flash is '1', then short pause and two flashes would be '2'. Since the codes are two digits that is a code '12' and it repeats that code two more times and then starts with the next stored code. It always starts with a code '12' to let you know it is in diagnostic mode and the last code is always '12' to let you know it is done flashing codes.

Problem with Chevrolet 4.3 Vortec fuel pressure / oil pressure relay

a bad fuel pump relay will not cause vehicle to only run under 50. the oil pressure switch does bypass relay when pressure builds up. if you are having problems with running need to check fuel pressure. possibly caused by clogged fuel filter

1996 Chevy Blazer won't start

You could try changeing the fuel filter its located under the drivers door mounted to the frame in the fuel line . But the most likely thing that it could be is the fuel pump. You could check fuse # 9 its a 20 AMP in the fuse box that feeds the relay located in the glove box but on this vehicle even if the relay wore bad the vehicle would still start it would just crank for a longer time . the fuel pump has a beck up power supply also feed from fuse #9 that runs through the oil pressure sending unit. So if its not the fuse its the pump or a bad connection at the pump and that is located inside the fuel tank witch needs to be droped to replace the fuel pumpGood luck with it but this is a common issue with blazers
