Does anyone know what wirring abbreviation NCA means for 191 eldorado
Regardless the year, maker, model it stands for No Color Associated/Assigned. In most Chrysler schematics I've seen generally the wire leading from the alternator (8 gauge on stud with nut) is listed NCA going to a fusible link (10 gauge) sitting between the 8 gauge Red battery connection.
1995 Cadillac ETC has hard shift (all gears work)
yes change fluid. if that dosnt work buy new shift solinoids. and replace them. also check all the wiring from transmission to pcm and from conector to solinoids when u take the pan off. just disconect the solinoids. and use a digital multimeter innva brand put it on continuity and touch wire after wire till it beeps indicating wiring is touching . some will beep because thay are still conected and would have to remove transmission to disconect them. i just had this exact problem on my 94 sls . i replaced solinoid a-b and did a fluid change and checked the conections going to the transmission. and it runns good now
Where is the shift solenoid
with age of car many things cud be worn on trans--do a pressure chec for any internal leaks--may just need a trans fluid change or a tv valve ajust etc --automatics are very complicated-get a book or ask a reputable tech to test drive
How do I fix codes 51 and 52 on a 1984 Eldorado Biarritz?
Those are mem-cal codes, unless you changed the ECM the PROM (a separate part inside the ECM) has gone bad or the ECM itself went bad, if you just replaced your ECM with a used one you need to swap PROMS just remove the 2 screws and remove the plate then the PROMS. If this doesn't workYour best avenue is to remove the ECM then go to a parts store that sell Standard Motor Products they have an R+R program and will repair your ECM and PROM and send it back. I hope this helps. Take Care.

2000 Cadillac Eldorado EVAP system
DTC P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
The fuel tank pressure sensor is located on top of the fuel tank.
Circuit Description
The fuel tank pressure sensor measures the pressure (or vacuum) in the fuel tank. The powertrain control module (PCM) provides the sensor with a reference voltage, a signal circuit, and a ground. The sensor returns a signal voltage to the PCM relative to the pressure in the fuel tank. The PCM should see a signal voltage increase as the pressure in the tank decreases (more vacuum). As the pressure in the tank increases (less vacuum), the PCM should see a signal voltage decrease. The PCM uses the sensor signal to test the integrity of the EVAP system. If the PCM detects a signal voltage that is too low, DTC P0452 will set.
