many times the vacuum diagram is on a sticker mounted to a fender or the hood in the engine compartment

What wires are crossed?

No injection pulse is controled by the computer

No-the relay turns on the fuel pump

Any visable leaks? Any check engine lights on? When was the last tuneup? Does it lose power?

Start by replacing the fuel filter and put fuel carb / injector cleaner into fuel tank.

try looking in the air inlet pipe for this unit.
