How can I remove a factory lock on a 95 buick regal ODB PORT
since there is not one you do not need to.
Just about every GM in 94-95 is plagued by the "transitional" OBD 1.5.
You will need a scanner capable of this feat, that can also plug in to the ALDL connector. '94 Regal is also using the ALDL Data port. 93 is the last year of being able to use the paper clip trick to get codes out of it.
use an Actron CP 9145 with a CP 9127 cable to get it. You'll be pulling OBD 2 codes from it
Won't shift In to gear it has the right amount of transmission fluid and the color looks good
scan the PCM/tcm?seems the tranny pump is weak or its filter packed.or worse 100 leaks inside the tranny? par this old.no miles told, 250,000+ miles.(odometer shows)?fails same way in R and LPRNDL:?>????????????buy it like this or just happened out of the blue?so in drive 1st gear fails but R and L dont"?it can fail hot or cold box or both , does it?all we know is dead stoptell all facts, from home parked to going to say the store, when does it fail on a tripmy guess is hot only fails.that Implies a weak pump, (or leaks inside the box)the shift cable has factory adjustment in the manual tells you how to do that. SMquoteWith the lock tab fully raised, push the tab down to fully seat in the cable adjuster to adjust the cable in the mounting bracket.end.this box is a GM 4T60Eshift linkage must actually be in drive.it has cable an this old can be bad.next time if fail do PRNDL, DO R then do L then do D. do all fails when D fails. or does the act of by hand shifting it many times cure the fail.?the box has detents for each selectionthe cable must go to those places or it will fail.bad cable or not adjusted.the scan the TCM box, for errors.next is Tranny case ports, pressure testsas seen in in the ATSG shop manual 4T60Esold every where even ebay.

Power Windows Operation
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. Each passenger door window can be operated, either from a switch built into the driver door switch assembly (DDSA), or from a switch mounted locally to its associated door. The driver door window can be operated only from the driver door window switch built into the DDSA.
When a window is operated from the DDSA, the DDSA interprets the window switch signal as a specific window switch request and sends the information to the driver door module (DDM) via the power door serial data circuit. The DDM examines the request and checks to see if it has received any class 2 serial data messages from any of the other vehicle modules (i.e. ignition switch position) prohibiting the movement of the window. If the window being operated is the driver door window, and if no prohibitive class 2 messages have been received, the DDM then applies voltage and ground to the driver door window motor to move the window glass as requested. If the window being operated is a passenger door window, and no prohibitive class 2 messages have been received, the DDM sends the request, via the power door serial data circuit, to the appropriate passenger door module. The passenger door module then applies voltage and ground to the passenger door window motor to move the window glass as requested.
When a passenger door window is operated from the power window switch mounted locally to its associated door, the passenger door module first checks to see if the DDM has received any prohibitive class 2 serial data messages. If there are no prohibitive messages, the passenger door module powers the associated passenger door window motor.
Both front door windows have the express down feature. This allows the front door windows to be fully opened by momentarily pulling the appropriate window switch lever to the second detente and then releasing.
Did you hook up a scan tool an check for DTC'S in the driver door module ?
DTC B3142, B3147, B3152, or B3157
The switch that failed and generated this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is wired to either the driver door switch assembly (DDSA) or the passenger door module (PDM). The DDSA or the PDM includes the switch state in the message it sends to the driver door module (DDM) via the power door serial data circuit. The DDM sends the switch message to the rear integration module (RIM), which is the master of all lock operations, as a class 2 message. The RIM checks all conditions and if all conditions are correct, sends its OK to the DDM. When the OK message is received, the DDM sends the required signal to all other door modules via the power door serial data message system.

NO SYMPTOMS TOLD JUST A BLIND HUNT VAGUE.
what part is this, try to be more clearn
seems to me all you know now is SCAN tool shows errors not told ?
you said bank 1.
no engine told , is it a USA spec car,?
1998 is USA OBD2 based EFI.
using a scan tool is always wise after fuses all good.
Generation 7 (B) B IS 1996 UP
3800 SERIES ii ENGINE, I SEE.
THIS ENGINE HAS ONLY 1 AIR FLOW SENSOR FOR BOTH BANKS.
CALLED A MAF SENSOR.
THERE ARE fuel trim sensors for banks called oxygen sensors
front sensors, bank 1 and 2, trim fuel. based on oxygen content of exhaust fumes.
ak.a 02 sensor are no good 25 years old
the maf sensor hot wire can coke up and reads low
and causes weak fueling, on both banks, not just one ever.
we clean the fragile hot wire inside using CRC maf cleaner.
nozzel of cleaner never closer than 6inches, no damage done by the tech, gently
scan the PCM yet?
any OBD2 real scan tool works on this old dog.
On a 2002 buick century custom the horn relay under hood is what Amp fuse
Fuses and relays are two completely different things. Relays don't normally have a fuse built into them. Is this the horn fuse or the horn relay your referring to?
If it is the Relay, (a Small, square, black plastic block), take it to a good auto parts store and they be able to give you the correct one. The car will run normally without it.
If it is the fuse, ( a flat, coloured piece of Plastic with two metal 'ears'), they are usually marked with the amp rating as a number and the letter A. They are also usually colour coded having certain Amp ratings as certain colour. It is often a 15A fuse, possibly a blue one.

Where do the fuel pump wires run on a 1995 Buick Lesabre?
Hi. In a 1995 Buick LeSabre, the wiring for the fuel pump typically runs from the fuel pump relay, which is located in the front passenger door area, to the fuel pump itself, which is located inside the gas tank. The wiring is generally routed inside the vehicle, often underneath the carpeting and interior trim.
To access the wiring near the fuel pump, you will likely need to remove the rear seat. Here are the general steps to follow:
1. Remove the Rear Seat: Depending on your specific model and configuration, the rear seat may be secured with bolts or clips. Look for bolts at the bottom of the seat or clips under the front edge of the seat cushion. Remove any fasteners and lift the seat out.
2. Lift Carpeting and Trim: Once the seat is removed, carefully lift the carpeting and any surrounding trim pieces in the rear passenger area. You may need to detach plastic retainers or remove screws to do so. Take care not to damage the carpet or trim.
3. Locate the Wiring: Look for a wiring harness or conduit running along the floor or under the carpeting. This harness should lead toward the rear of the vehicle, closer to the fuel tank area. Trace the wiring until you find the connection point near the fuel pump.
4. Cut and Splice the Wiring: Once you've identified the wiring near the fuel pump, you can cut and splice the wiring as desired. Make sure to use appropriate connectors and ensure proper insulation to prevent any potential electrical issues.
It's important to exercise caution when working with electrical wiring. If you're not comfortable with this process, it's recommended to consult a professional mechanic or electrician who can assist you with the wiring replacement.
Additionally, please note that modifying the wiring of the fuel pump may have implications for your vehicle's warranty and safety. It's advisable to consult with an automotive expert or refer to your vehicle's documentation before proceeding with any modifications.
Where is the ignition switch relay on a 1999 Buick LeSabre
a mess i made, cured.redux 1the car 1999/2000radicallly changed, June1999 ! 2000 cars are made july1,1999.so when that happens 1999 cars are upgraded before that magic day.on all cars USA.new factory!!! wow new carnews body platform H to G.!(big time changes)so many manuals are full of lies due to this hard factin 1999 june they moved the battery main to rear of carunder rear seat and new fuse box. (find it yet?)1 under hood1 under IP console drivers box1 at passengers kick panel 1999)then later june 1999G body radiall changebattery moved rear under rear passenger seat.and at the same time a FUSE box REAR added, deleted some others I think.sorry but the VIN is the only clue for truth here.the old car is IP fuse blown or IGN1 fuse blownkills the cluster or lost serial comms from PCM to cluster.FUSE ARE FIRST NOT RELAY.so where is your car batterY.if rear use the 2000 year users guide not the 1999 both are free, if googled, lossing the glove box guide on any later 1999 is not fun at all. for anyone ,you or helpers lacking VIN.only GM can decode the VINor do the GM RPO look up at GM.RPO will in fact disclose all parts put on the car day1.for sure G body parts.
Car won't start
The camshaft sensor on this engine was located on the passenger side of the engine. You will need to remove the serpentine belt, and you can get to it by removing the inner fender or splash guard and get to it that way. I went down from the top. There are two sensors, one is a CRANKSHAFT sensor and other is a cam sensor. Make sure you know which is which. The crankshaft sensor is at the bottom of the engine, the camshaft is right by the water inlet. It is held in by 1 or 2 bolts. If your car is throwing the code for the camshaft sensor, just a heads up. I replaced the sensor and the sensor detects magnets installed on the camshaft. The engine kept throwing the code and came to find out one of the magnets had come off the end of the cam. I am telling you this just in case you go through the replacement and still end up with the code. the camshaft sensor is not too hard to replace, it's tight but it can be done. unbolt the old and bolt in the new. Make sure you disconnect battery before tackling this project. Hope that help some..
