If your 2012 BMW 535i is losing all of its water but not overheating, there could be a few possible causes:

USA spec car no not? no country of VIN told so answers can be big time wrong, ok? sure get a shop to fix it they have tools you don;'t have. 3.0L is inline 6? called L6 is this car with coil pack that does more than one spark wire? or have 6, COP spark coils, (all I can do is guess) or USA has 6 COPS we check compression first, x6. got cam timing chain NOISE? I guess changed word mean replaced, with new COP coil? well; engine is first , the spark then fuel injector do DTC P0301 was set, and is still set this error, be specific on DTC errors, even tell them. 301 means weak combustion on #1

• bad cylinder compression
• bad spark
• or #1 injector is bad.

why 3 and 5 fails and all are odd cylinders./ is odd but I suspect VVT problems./ no mileage on the engine told. 300k 400k?

YOUR BATTERY SAFTEY TERMINAL MOST LIKELY BLEW (ON POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE ON RIGHT SIDE OF TRUNK). NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. SEE A DEALER.

The answer is No to both questions. The security system and immobilizer is there to stop exactly what you are trying to do, start the car without the correct credentials. You can't reprogram computers (ECM and BCM) and the security modules and sensors. You have to fix the issue not find away around it. Hi this could point to either low oil in your gear box, or a faulty speed sensor, if you have a oil leak on the transmission this would come up, but also if the speed sensor also on the transmission is faulty you would get this code.. hope this helps

Hello. Either your B.M.W. doesn't have a return fuel line or, if it does, that line is blocked/restricted. The latter isn't likely because the engine might 'flood' with gas, making it hard to start/run. Keep me informed; if you want to.

Question edited for clarity. Take it back to the installer at 2:00pm and he can use his pro grade scan tool computer to record what happens. The clicking and lights flashing and not starting makes me think it is the security system that is the problem. You need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose. You have many issues by the sound of it.

Could you possibly comment below with a photo of this light? I'm not sure if it is the boot lid light as that is usually the image of a small car with the boot lid open. Also the noise would keep going if the boot is open as that's it job. A Red light means it needs looking at as soon as you can as it is possibly something serious. Does it have any other marks, letters or symbols inside the shape? This can help identify it.

hyjacker and oP both./ no year told, wow. no country told in the USA we have EVAP 3, systems test s that even run as we sleep.! but does not repeat, key off. 1 time yes. key off. or delayed as the PCM waits for fuel to cool off. (tank pressure tests it does,by law here USA) if really curios find the source of the noise under hood, under dash, under at gas tank(evap parts) use long cardboard tub to an ear and find it. this is not hard to do. find the source first then ask why it makes noise. and get real answers, 3000 parts on car gee. or pull fuses when it makes noise. you didnt say aftermarket ALARMS with shake switch horror ! or other wild car hacks , remote starter man killler. key off , noise is very small list of things key off . we are deaf here so all I can say is learn to find noise even making home made tools or a $5 mech stethoscope. (I have and electronics one with 4 microphones your noise is easy find,car parked, be happy it does not happen only moving car, those can be dangerous to find, lacking my tools or ask tech to find the noise. what else is there?, nada got other hacks, like REMOTE START BOX> we can't guess why any car or machine makes noise!!! ever. only how to do the tests. what stops you, IDK.
