2006 Yamaha 660 grizzly.turn key on, turn on run switch, all lights on display turn off. Can squeeze brake lever or try light switch, everything turns off. What could it be? Checked fuses, wires, grounds...I'm not good at testing circuits...help!
If you have not done any wiring repairs and this problem has just seemed to have developed , then I am guessing you have a live wire that is touching another wire or bare metal of the frame , handlebars or some wires are plugged into a wrong connection ! You can search the internet for a wiring diagram for your bike and should be able to find one for free ,but it will cost you time ! try a Yamaha motorcycle site where members have open forums or use google images just type in your bikes info model etc and add wiring diagram ! But if you own a motorcycle I would strongly advise you to purchase a workshop manual (it does not have to be a genuine Yamaha manual ) as there are manuals for most bikes and the reality is that you should be able to make a huge savings on maintenance and DIY repairs, adjustments etc and with the full wiring diagram that you can follow and relate to will simplify any wiring problems in the future .

Will a crank from a 600 grizzly fit in a 660 ?
Do you mean the crankshaft? ......
600 = Bore and stroke =95 mm by 84 mm
660 = Bore and stroke = 100 mm by 84 mm..
The stroke is the biggie..and they are the same!!.....BUT the rod length must to be exactly the same..
The bore doesn't matter.....rod small end ID must be the same..NOW >> .....if the crank journals are the same size...something that will have to be measured..You need a both crankshafts "in hand" to do some specific measuring.. shaft lengths,shaft o.d.'s.. threads, etc.. if they match..go for it..

Sounds like you have a stuck float needle in the carbs (2). Usually after a few days with gas in the carb they will free up, you could 'knock' on the carbs with the plastic end of a screwdriver to help free them up. If not, turn off fuel, drain the carbs and fill them with carb cleaner for 24 hours. Redrain, attach fuel lines and turn the gas back on. If still no start it's time for a rebuild...
