this is not a safe practice. the kill sw is a hot wire that is shorted to ground when it is pushed. just disconnect either wire and tape it off so it dont short out

Sounds like you may have a problem with the float valve in your carberator. If it's stuck open, even when the engine isn't running gas could be building up in the carb because your carb float valve isn't limiting it. And if it's building up and filling the carb, then it will eventually drop into the engine and subsequent oil pan. Look for signs of excess wet gas in the airboxin. That's a sign something in the carb isn't regulating the gas right.

remove both battery cables and touch them together for a few seconds. reconnect battery cables and it should be clear.

Contamination of the spark plugs could be engine oil passing the piston rings or valve guides or excess fuel or fuel being delivered in droplets that are too large to burn efficiently.

Close inspection of the fouled plugs should provide clues to the type of fouling. If there are no obvious faults perhaps using a hotter grade of plug will cure the problem.

was the tank empty when u added fresh gas? old gas has prolly varnished inside tank when u added gas it let enough gas into carb that it started and ran then left it set and old gas settled back down and now wont start. .you got all switches on and gas on? check spark at plug?

Check you manual for a master fuse by the fuse box. With a test light, follow the battery current until you find the problem

what is it doing? you said starting. like is it not cranking over? because you mentioned the charging system.
